I tried to get use to the auto stop/start function, but my old-school brain could not tolerate it. I bought the eliminator for $89. Simple no tools plug-in. Now when I start the truck, the auto start/stop defaults to the off mode.
I once had a fender bender with a police car. They took 1,000 pictures, measured distances with that wheel thing, and split me and my passenger up into different police cars for interviews.. In the end , it was determined that no one was at fault.... But it wasn't for a lack of trying....
On my pick-up day, I was ready for a fight! Dealer gave me MSRP, offered the 1.6% finance and did a soft sell on the extended warranty. No shenanigans! Hope your day is the same.
I started this thread because I was stressed that when I eventually picked up my Maverick that the dealer would try something shady. Happy to report that after a 9 month wait, I picked up my truck today. No markups, offered the 0% for 36 months and MSRP at the 2021 price. Shout out to Wynne Ford...
I got a 'YOUR VEHICLE HAS BEEN BUILT' email on 7/2. Two hours later I got a 'YOUR VEHICLE IS ON ITS WAY' email that states: 'Our current estimate for delivery to your Ford dealer is between August 6, 2022 and August 12, 2022. So using this information from Ford, I give it a 75% chance of having...
Anyone notice that on the current Ford build site, if you add the ecoboost, it's a $435 upgrade from Hybrid.. When I ordered in November, it was $1,085?
Looks really great! I can't believe that your dealer tried to tack on a $10K mark-up on an ordered vehicle. I will be so pissed if my dealer tries to do that. How did you convince them to remove it. Threatening to walk away, doesn't work in this environment. Also, I've heard good things about...
I'd hate to be a dealer service tech working on a Maverick. All these owners that know every nuance of the truck. I'd pray they assign me an EcoSport customer that has no emotional connection with the vehicle......
-40F.. Whew.. Yeah, dropping the entire exhaust to install the block heater would be a surprise to me too.. Probably would have affected my decision to install one too. Best of luck, hopefully they will treat you right. If not, it's just one of those pricy life lessons.. I've had my fair share.. :)
Had this issue with a Nissan, pine needles, leaves over time clogged the drain. Rain would overflow behind the dash and soak the passenger side carpet. Had to remove some plastic coverings and find/unclog the drain that led to the wheel wells.
Their kindness throws me off... I seem to get the same nice lady that sounds like my aunt, and there's no way I can raise my voice to my favorite aunt... I will say ford did a good job staffing that call center....
