I don't know why but as I get older I find myself more and more interested in yellow vehicles. I specifically chose a yellow Bronco at the Off-Roadeo, and I absolutely love this Maverick. For reference my garage is almost entirely white and black, hah.
It has already been said but you should always fill up the tires to whatever PSI is recommended, regardless of ambient temp. Living in the desert I always have to fill up once them temps dip below 60.
That's wild! Are you able to mess with the speaker settings to isolate the sound front/rear or left/right? That would help identify whether it's a source issue or a speaker one.
I agree, a front strut bar is mostly just for looks on a vehicle like this. If you want one, definitely go for it, but don't expect any noticeable change in handling.
I have a love/hate relationship with black wheels. With almost any exterior color other than white I can't stand them, and then on all of my white cars I end up getting black wheels for a Stormtrooper or Panda look.
Not enough people are learning to use their mirrors properly, and even more people are probably driving around with their mirrors in the wrong place. I'm not worried about blind spots at all, but it took me a while to get that comfortable.
I also had an older Ranger, so I know where you're coming from. I haven't purchased a Maverick just yet but I'm 100% sure it's the next truck I want to own. The size and practicality for what I need just can't be beat. If the pricing is too high to justify maybe used is the answer, but...
My Bronco was my first vehicle with Auto Start Stop (great acronym there) and I lost my mind whoever it kicked in, specifically because it was a manual. It would shut down then turn back on whenever I pushed in the clutch. On an automatic it's not as jarring but glad you can disable it with some...
I'm a fan of Hill Start Assist, but not Auto Hold, for gas vehicles at least. If I'm driving an EV I don't mind the Auto Hold for one-pedal driving, but I would never want it for a Maverick.
Very nice! I've been convincing my wife to let us get a Maverick instead of a Bronco Sport. Maybe I should just gift her the truck and settle the discussion once and for all, hah!
Here are a couple pics from my IG account. The Lancer is mostly driven to car shows and the Pajero is currently having its engine rebuilt. Hopefully soon I can get a shot of the two together!
Loving this build, just ran through the entire thread. Planning on getting my own Maverick later this year, and the Eruption Green would match the Base Sasquatch Bronco I ordered years ago. I can't imagine any other color now!
P.S. love the pics with the Impreza. I've always been a Mitsu guy...
