I'd never been to a dealer that seemed so hi tech. The finance guys entire desk was like a giant iPad. Documents were displayed on his desk. You signed electronically and they gave us a thumb drive with all the paperwork. Seemed super fancy.
My wife graduated from college within the last 2 years. If they put her on the purchase we could get $750 graduation rebate. It was nice that they asked about it.
14 months to the day and he is in the driveway. Dealer experience was great. Honored price protection and found a $750 rebate too. Took about an hour and we were home.
Wife likes it. There was a guy getting his XL after us. She was glad we got the one with the nicer wheels.
First impressions...
I know this does not help, but, my truck came in today. Dealer did the sales sheet and used the price at order, 7/26/21, not price on sticker. They said price protection was great for me, I didn't even bring it up.
Dealer called this morning. Said he just took him off the truck. Looks great. Love the color. Comfortable seats. I like the layout of the interior.
Drove it around the lot a bit. Will test drive on Monday. Dealer said they want to do their inspection and get it cleaned up.
No funny business...

Ford says my truck is actually built. Got Vin in April, original build date was in June but it kept getting pushed so I stopped checking. Was great surprise to get notification of build. Will see how long it takes to get to here. Then we get to open...
Well. Ford email says I'm "In Production". Last time I checked my build week was scheduled for 7/25. It will still be over a year from order to receipt. That's ok, get some of the bugs worked out. I'm lucky that I didn't "need" a new truck but I wanted one.
