    AWD uses front and rear driving when accelerating from a stop. When in slippery mode it uses front and rear drive ANYTIME you accelerate.

  7. Use only FWD in an AWD EB Lariat FX4 Maverick?

    The instrument cluster has a screen that shows how power is applied to the front and rear drive. Both front and rear receive power when you accelerate from a stop, then goes to mostly front. Enable that screen and you'll get a visual answer to your question.

    The bottle opener is a tie down but interferes with the tailgate assist. Lane is saying he has replacement tiedowns that will replace the bottle opener that you will have to remove.

    I can't compare to other Mavericks but My 2024 FX4 is very smooth. My 2001 Ranger Extended cab had stiff springs and the bumps rattled my teeth. Maverick FX4 drives great.
