    I just posted this in another thread. I was told delivery would be 1/3/2024 to 1/16/2024. It was delivered today. I just took delivery and drove it home. Very nice to drive. 1/4/2024 7:00 P.M.

    I just spoke with my dealer. My truck landed at the last train stop last night. Now it will be trucked to the dealer in the next week. So stoked.

    Love that red. I wanted to choose it but my last ruck (2001 Ranger) that the Maverick is replacing was red so I chose blue. Congrats!

  8. Downshifting delay

    Older transmissions with a solid kick-down linkage could be adjusted for near immediate downshift. There are some things about old technology that I miss. However, I bet you could find a tuner that knows how o adjust the kick0down response.

  12. Traction Control on Hybrid…Does it effect mileage when it’s on?

    Traction control activates when you lose traction. Why would driving with it on affect your gas mileage? If you're losing traction constantly, maybe, but then you should reconsider whether driving at that time is a good idea.

  15. I have a 2023 Ford Maverick Lariat with the 2.0.4 pin 4K hitch.

    Are you aware that there is more to towing 4k than the hitch and brake controller?

    Boomer was not derived from industries booming or growing. It was created at the time as a result of the baby BOOM. Those babies were referred to as Boomers. I happen to be one of those.

    I agree that Ford's communication is lacking. I personally appreciate the courtesy they provided by giving me insight on the vehicle that is not yet mine. I have not yet received it but it's on it's way after 6 months.

    I just checked with Ford Chat. My truck shipped as of 12/15 and is not in Hermosillo at this point but Nogales. Still in Mexico.
