I usually keep cars for a long time and unless I find out I won the Nigerian lotto or am the heir to some prince I hope to get at least 10 years from my Maverick. My old SUV I had before my Mav had nearly 270k miles when I traded it...

    Thanks for the post. What are your thoughts on oil change milage? I thought 10k was way too long too so I did my first at 4500 miles and went full synthetic. I was planning on doing 5k miles between changes. I only drive around 10K a year so probably every 6 months or so.

    Get a lawyer. If everything is as you described this is a slam dunk case for any competent lawyer. The dealership will probably make you an offer out of court to make you whole as soon as a lawyer is involved.

    I take mine to a car wash at least once a week. the one i go to is really high end and i have a monthly membership for unlimited car washes for $40. One wash is $27 so the membership is a no brainer since i go more than twice a month. No major damage, but it can put swirl marks from the brushes...

    Am i the only one that loves my rotary shifter? It took time to get used to, but it saves so much space. I love it now.
