That is the case for me. That part isn’t on my dealer though. I have outside financing. Just very annoying. All my accessories came in the day I was suppose to pick up the truck. Just some icing on the cake.

According to the dealership, they can’t officially fix an open recall unless Ford issues an official repair. So if the recall is still on the vehicle then they are not able to release the car.

They prob could just fix it. But unless Ford issues an actual protocol to fix the recall I would imagine that it would still be marked at under recall and not be able to release the car. I could be wrong. It has happened once before.
