On the coast, lucked out and went to the ford dealer in Pascagoula last July and ordered. Came in March this year, been putting the miles on it ever since. Stay away from the gulfport, biloxi dealers, horrible when trying to order from them. My own experience though.

At least with bringing it in, you’ll have it on your service record when 10 years from now they admit something was wrong. Hopefully it’s not like the 2012,13 +++ Ford Focus transmission.

This 100% describes what happens. I’m sure you’ll get an email from the ford guy asking to pm him and he’ll send you to a dealer that can’t find anything.

Has the OP made any attempt to contact the State AG, sit in front of the dealer with a sign or write to Ford. If not how about we just close this thread down. Looks like he has more than enough advice and no more updates on what he’s doing.

Not what my dealer, service dept and parts dept let me know. The salesperson asked if i knew about adding cruise diy and said I could order thru the parts dept. they acknowledged it was the same as adding a aftermarket stereo or alarm system, but to each there own.
