No they don’t. Roughly 10-15 years before body begins rejecting it. I had a co worker with a heart and lung transplant and she was one of the longest run on a transplant (maybe 20+ years). Great person, lived her life to the fullest. RIP Nancy.
Well I’ll be transparent: my mav I purchased for 36k. I got 32k for trade in. The 23 lightning was only 56k. I had 12k remaining from the mav loan. So 44k was my new loan. Not too much more, but it’s a different class size.
So far it’s very comfy ride- not taught and sport-like as the mav. It’s...
WARNING! Long post
First of all. I had a great time with my truck. I’ve owned maverick lariat hybrid with black appearance for 21 months and almost 12k miles. I waited 13 months for it to build. I had no big issues (besides battery deep sleep), drove great, excellent gas mileage, kinda sporty...
One taillight bulb went out a few weeks after update. Now a 2nd bulb went out and I’m not risking anything and put the oem back on. What a bummer. The lasfit brightness made everyone aware I was stopping.
Problem is the aluminum gets real hot, REALLY hot. Like another member posted it got 161 degrees F on the aluminum siding. I didn’t spend $1200 to have to wear gloves just to rollup the cover. Complacency restricts progress.
Also wld like to know from the owners with broken axles is when did it happen? Mav hybrid owner here for 18 months and only 9k miles driven. I’m wondering shd I drive harder before warranty ends.
I purchased mine originally through ford accessories before I had my truck, using the special accessories % discount. It was shipped to dealer. Since shipped to dealer, issues/concerns are dealt through dealer. Had the purchase been sent directly to you, then you wld deal directly with online...
UPDATE:
My man Jared @ Price Ford Turlock was in contact with the manufacturer abt the ongoing issue. He got them to finally send a replacement cover. I appreciate he was in constant contact with me during the process. I do miss that ford logo, but I’m more grateful that I won’t have goo all...
My CRV has cvt and it’s fine. Toyota and Honda have an actual first gear for quicker acceleration off a stop. It’s reaching 100k, will see how reliable it is, but it’s been great so far.
With copilot assist, when you signal to change lanes and it’s clear the truck will start accelerating. It accelerates not necessarily a boost if that’s what u we’re trying to say
Seems like what u have is the updated model that doesn’t have the ford logo on the slats, which I assume have rubber on the sides of the aluminum? Mine is previous model with felt. I want them to at least replace with newer model.
