So far I have not seen or felt any issues with the OTS tunes, and once I get my downpipe and intercooler I will be doing a pro tune to tie everything together :).
Also I can't see Cobb releasing an OTS tune, that later damaged a motor/transmission, that's a liability they don't want to deal...
Ok! so after some more time with my AP etc, plus been out of state for work, I finally figured out what was causing my AP not to reconnect to the ECU.... was a bad cable, the OBD end is *twisted* and if I wiggle that a bit it connects, so its deffinately the cable.
Again....waiting for Cobb to...
I went with a S&B intake and a Thermal R&D 3" exhaust, sounds awesome, just wished it didn't have the resonator >.> my WRX didn't and I had no issues with that setup lol. In the future I may make a custom quad tip exhaust, but we're see XD.
After changing my Intake And Exhaust I noticed my shifting points changed *I know Odd but that's how it feels* but from reading this thread it sounds like its low RPM lugging ? As it almost always happens around 2000 RPMs, or just before you think it should be shifting.
Recently got a Access...
Avoid this dealer, that's quite the markup, I got my 24 XLT EB, with literally all the bells and it didn't even hit 37k....but hybrids do cost more :/.
Also, go with a special order, I went through *Crater Lake Ford* in Medford, Oregon. I was literally in an out with my truck in 30 mins or less...
Ok! Late night annoying question time!... o_O...
Just installed the stage 1, 91 OCT, sport TCM map.
My question after doing that is the map installed over the *standard* Ford map or the *Sport Mode* map ?
I drove the mav on a 10 mile loop, and I didn't notice any difference in either standard...
Sweet, was thinking that would be a good start before I move forward with a protune, mostly want my transmission shift points to be better, as I noticed after changing the exhaust the mav started acting differently in regards to shifting. 😵💫
Ok, 1st off, I've never used an access port before, seems fairly straight forward though.
How ever, my 2024 Maverick has a few existing mods mainly a Theramal R&D 3" exhaust and an S&B intake.
All the preloaded tunes don't really match my area, in terms of octane, highest here atm is 92...
Personally hate the 25s front end, don't even know how they thought that looked good in any way. The current model looks so much better, changing it now was a terrible idea lol. If the previous years front end was compatible with the 25s I'd just swap everything lolz XD.
Is that an *Actual* hood scoop ? Or just a paste on Look ? I'd say if it were a funtioning scoop that would be pretty nice, for adding cold air to the engine bay :).
**Nvm Found out its just cosmetic :(, knowing me I'd look into making it a true hoodscoop lol XD.
I literally had like 2 seconds to respond After seeing the Doe's, luckily so far I am not seeing any frame damage, just surface. Still not something I wanted to deal with this month >.>.
Truck is headed to the shop on the 19th this month for the repairs, in the mean time I'll ride my Honda...
Shops almost done, just need to get electical hookups etc, then to build the loft area, as for mods on the truck I just installed a Thermal R&D 3" exhaust, and have a S&B intake waiting to install, just need to contact S&B about shipping a missing gasket for the main intake tube going to the...
Thinking of doing something similar with a tray setup, thinking I'll also make a cutout to place my mountain bikes rear tire. That way I don't have to remove the tray setup everytime I go on a MTB trip lolz.
Looking into getting a spray in liner myself here shortly, but the closest Rhino Liner to me is over an hours drive :O, still looking around, we have a Mil-Spec liner local, that use to do Line-X but there prices are pretty high ? For the bed I think I was quoted like $700, but that was for the...
Typically from what I have seen on other threads MPGs go up a bit, but also changing your CAI and exhaust have seen improvements aswell, plus a tonneau cover helps with creating less area's to create drag which hurts MPGs.
Had an issue with my EGR hood deflector cracking in the middle just after install, and EGRs sending me a new 1, no questions asked. Pretty impressed with there customer service so far :O.
Hopefully the 2nd 1 wont have the same issues as the 1st, most noticeably the holes not being aligned...
Been looking at these brands as well, H&R, Good-win racing, and Steeda ? How do these compare to the Eibachs ? I don't want to *Slam* the truck either in height lol.
