Same here! I didn't get a wild deal, but the steelies had to go. I replaced the Bronco center cap with the Maverick standard black Ford and it almost blends in with all the XLTs.

I can't say I could ever feel anything that coincided with the noise. It's a quick squeak that happened every wheel revolution, up to about 45 MPH. If you feel a rumble or imbalance with it, it could be a CV axle. They seem to fail prematurely on Mavericks and Escapes.

I've noticed this behavior as well, at least with the PRNDL indicators. They seem to adjust brightness to ambient light a lot more noticeably than the screen and instrument backlighting. I think it's pretty neat how the brightness ramps up and down automatically.

Do you have the 23E07 Software calibration update, or 23E09 Reprogram powertrain control module? My 2023 Lariat Hybrid (built 12/22) has both of these listed with a "remedy not yet available" note. But I'm considering never getting it done even if available.

I know it is a completely different engine, but my 3.5 Ecoboost Explorer has the same low RPM 'lugging.' I've found a happy median of price and reduced low speed shutter by using E15 88 octane. Maybe it will be the same for the 2.0 because they both lack a dual port+direct injection system.

You can defeat the fake shifting by using L while in Sport or Tow/Haul. I hate the fake shifts as well.

Last week I noticed that my 2007 Escape Hybrid, 2017 Fusion Energi and 2023 Maverick Hybrid all had/have the same "grab" to the brakes when you're about to stop. So I guess my Maverick technically has "grabby" brakes. 🤷
