  1. Good article on LSPI, worth a read

Look for the oil ratings SN+ or Dexos 1 Gen.2. Lowered calcium and increased ZDDP have helped a ton. It has not been commonly seen in the later versions on the EB, but it first reared its ugly head in Ecoboost and Ecotec engines. Keep em clean, feed em good fuel and using good lubricants goes...

  5. Posting Pictures in “Forums” is straight forward, but I can’t seem to post a picture in a new post under “Clubs”

Just pasted your picture over in the clubs section to see if it would work as it had for my pic earlier. I opened your image full size, held on it till the menu popped up, selected "Open in new tab", then copied / pasted that url in the clubs graphics dialog box - this is on Android.

  16. Changed the eCVT transmission fluid in my Hybrid Maverick

I run Android, but I think Forscan is agnostic. I only use mine when I am doing maintenance and for post maintenance runs- monitor a number of temps and pressures. I think there are folks on here doing similar to what you want with old smartphones as well, and just leaving the dongle in place...
  17. Why wouldn't a generic catch can work?

Normal, mine are no different than any other EB 2.0 out there. More time on boost will mean less in the lower can, more time cruising at very low boost enjoying mpg and more time idling in traffic I catch more in the lower can. Upper can is pretty consistent. Both also catch condensate...
  18. Changed the eCVT transmission fluid in my Hybrid Maverick

BITOG is 95% opinion, probably one of the more useless sites on the web. Toyota and Honda are still living off that reputation, their reliability today is not what it was 20-years ago, and has nothing to do with today's ridiculous long maintenance intervals. Honda was correct, break-in lubes...
  19. Why wouldn't a generic catch can work?

Weird - I don't live at or beyond the redline yet I routinely dump oil out of both my cans......strange happenings 'round here, damn strange
