Has anyone figured these connectors out?
I understand from prowling the 'net that these are supposed to be "anti-tamper" and require you to cut away the orange internal "clip" as much as possible in order to remove them, that is what I had to do on the first one.
I read on another forum that...
Mine was louder than I cared for on delivery, especially on asphalt highways around DFW - there was a very noticeable drop in noise when the road surface was concrete. I found the tires to be 10 pounds over pressure, dropping back to spec helped - a bit.
I believe the Continental tires are...
I contacted Foose via his website asking when / if this would available as a print (a lot of his work is available as a print if you haven't been to his site), the person replying told me they had no plans to do so......maybe if a few other folks asked they might re-think that - ya never know!
Holiday Ford in Whitesboro, MSRP only all day long. Entire sales experience from inspect and drive, to walking out with my USB docs package took 1 hour..
Mine was a dealer order I tracked down, they agreed to mark it sold in order to hold it for me with no deposit or paperwork. Truck finally...
This.
F150 did the same crazy dance, limp mode / gages dancing crazy / weird warnings etc. Didn't record a single code when it did this crazy, came down to a couple loose grounds and a weak (but still working) battery. Some of these car computers are real sensitive to voltage.
I have been getting 28.8 - 31.2 indicated, hand calculations are always ×/- 1/2 gallon of indicated. This has been 80% highway miles, all in normal drive mode.
I can live with that all day long for the commute.
Now, Sport mode and a heavy foot trades mpg for smiles and it is worth every second.
This is your answer - not only will it look like it never happened, but it will look better than stock. A little massage with body tools and then they spray liner over that whole section below the glass.
Great idea Cubican!!
Well, I hope you bust the myth!
I will watch closely once I get my hands on one - the plowed fields across the road keep me busy some times with snakes and rodents.........
Ford stripped them out of the focus and edge late in their runs, word was cost cutting being the reason. I have researched a number of options and from I can see Weatherman has it right, the covers on all the 2.0l eco's appear to be the same.
I plan to hit some local salvage yards tomorrow...
Thank you David! Sorry that was confusing,,,,yes there are paper elements out there, but you have to dig thru the various manufacturers tech specs. I began in the mid 70's when your parts man would swing the catalog rack around and let you dig, we stuffed the largest pleated paper filter in the...
Exactly the sound I was hoping for - intake sounds sweet too!!
Hey, I asked in the intake thres about what size / number is that k&n? I want to be able to swap in a paper pleated from time to time based on where I will have to drive for work - rather avoid a pre-charger etc if I can
Great work...
Just curious to find out, generally Ford & Toyota, and probably others, only lay in one "master" harness as a cost savings/efficiency of assembly deal.
I bought a dealer ordered truck and they did not spec the inverter. I have occasion to power up a laptop and office in my vehicle, so looking...
Both sides are dirty, the crankcase vent on the side of the block and the crankcase vent on the valve cover. And they both vent the same crankcase space, neither connection is taking air into the crankcase.
Which can in a 2 can system (best) accumulates more oil at any given time is dependent...
