Just an update. This has been working seamlessly since install. I have literally forgotten about the button until I saw this post pop up again today. Great there is an option for this and I’m averaging around 28.3 mpg with it disabled.

yeah but shouldn’t be falling out :) Got it snapped back in. First try thought it was in and pushed on the tab side and it popped out again. Pushed in harder and second time seemed to take and don’t think it will pop out now. Guessing factory person just didn’t get it snapped in all the way...

I'm guessing it's not broken and the clips popped out. Going to try to snap it back in today. Just surprised me to see a piece of plastic on the floor of the car but not a big deal :)

Found this on the floor and had to figure out where it came from. Weird it fell off so easy.

Wouldn’t larger tires change the tow gear ratio though to effectively offset some of that difference at highway speeds?

Yes they scratch super easy - one of my first complaints. My wife's Hyundai and my Honda had way more durable plastic material.

Bothers me that a "cheaper" hybrid XLT would get them but not my more expensive Ecoboost AWD XLT. If they are both XLT why wouldn't the more expensive model get them too? Wish they would have just let us option it at purchase - I think if they had said - "additional noise dampening insulators...

Whoever here goes to the dealer first, please let us know what they say. If it’s not a warranty item I’ll likely buy and install them anyway. How are they mounted? I wonder if you have to take off any body panel to install them?

Mine does it as well, weird noise. I also hear a weird noise a couple of minutes after shutting down. I pulled in my garage, got out, was working at my shop table for 5 mins then the car made a weird power type sound. Second time I’ve noticed this after the car had been off for a while.

Wow I just saw this thread and it’s funny because I was looking at wiring my radar detector power last night and I had the same thought - why is this area all open? I can actually see my washer fluid tank on the passenger side. 99% sure this is an error and they didn’t have the parts available...

If you get a chance can you measure clearance from ground to bottom of the tip? I’m considering this but clearance for me is an issue. I’d like to compare it to my existing clearance so I can make a decision. Thank you!

Was installing this over the weekend and figured I’d make a video. There is about 4-5 inch gap between exhaust muffler and bottom of plastic on the drivers side. I don’t think this would be an issue but on a 110 degree day with hours of sitting in traffic who knows. I may put some reflected...
