Man, you got a bad priority code I guess. I ordered mine on 26 Dec and it's already been built and is currently on its way up to me here in Dallas. I had a priority 10 code. I think you may want to call your dealer and ask what the hell is up with your low priority code.
Hey now, y'all cut that crap out. I ain't be comin' here for brain stuff. I just wanna read 'bout folks complaining about not gettin' their trucks yet.
Man, I'm one of the lucky ones who has already gotten a build date (today) and I really can't blame you. Honestly, it's kind of BS. I understand them building what they can with the parts that are available, but I really wish they would build the ones for the guys that already had their orders...

I actually opted for those with my current Ram 1500. Sure, they aren't molded to fit perfectly, but they are extremely heavy duty and easy to remove for cleaning. I'll probably get them again for the Maverick even though I have the molded ones from the factory. Maybe not, we will see though. I...
Think that could have been an inertia-related event? Or will it not even go back into the cubby due to twisting? Eh, you probably don't have the truck and weren't in the frame of mind to do that kind assessment after the accident.
Ah, yeah, kind of hard to see that from the pics. But I'm quite interested in hearing what the dealer says mainly because, while I hope I'm wrong, you aren't likely to be the last person to get into a serious accident with their Maverick. It'll be interesting to see if they push to repair (if...
Firstly, really glad you are both ok. But I must admit that I'm also curious; while the hit seems to have been pretty serious, it also looks like that *could* be repairable. Assuming, of course, the unibody frame underneath isn't twisted. Did the insurance company even talk about repair or was...
I think those failures had more to do with the fact that they were so clearly just rebadged F-150s with a half-baked facelift and marginally nicer interiors. Folks are clearly willing to buy luxuriously appointed trucks, but no one wants to look the fool who paid $10-20k more for a different...
I would be pretty surprised to see that happen, not because I don't think the designers at Ford/Lincoln couldn't make a nice looking version (though I really do like the basic "truck" look that it currently sports), but because of the market positioning of Lincoln being such a contradiction to...
I'd have to assume that he would have mentioned if the trucks were used in markedly different ways. Most probably he is saying that, with similar use characteristics, that the Line-X and Bullet out performed the Rhino liners.
Oh yeah, I wouldn't remove it. I'd probably do something like I do with my daughter's egregiously loud toys - put a piece of tape over the output. It is still functional, but serves to dampen the sound some.
I can't stand the door open dinging sound that Ford uses. I don't currently drive a Ford, but my dad has an F-250 and it's just something that I really don't like. I may not be able to change it, but I'm going to make a go of it when I get my Maverick.
Yup, totally agree. Like I said, I think it was a conscious choice made by Ford to help offset the lower margin hybrid. And it just so happens that they have a perfect excuse to do it this year with all the global supply chain issues.
I, too, find it hard to believe that a new hybrid is actually cheaper to produce than the already-long-established and likely amortized EcoBoost 2.0. As others have mentioned, I bet it was positioned to be a loss-leader and that the AWD, tow packages, and FX4 packages were strategically chosen...
My vote was cast for Carbonized Gray. While I'll concede that it does look pretty nice on the Maverick, I am beyond sick of seeing this color on vehicles. It's just everywhere and it doesn't help that my wife loves it and picks it on every one of her vehicles. Bleh.
As an aside, I wish Ford...
