The tires poke just a little. I didn't want to go to wide as I'd like to fit 235/70 R17s when it's time for tires. The blacks great but a pain to keep clean.
I'm running 1" front, 1.5" rear. Mabett fender flares. Have them on about 3 months now and no issues. I did cut about three threads off the front lugs, there's plenty of thread if you want to go back to no spacer. https://a.co/d/3RQEY23
This is a problem with OEM tail lights as well. If you over tighten the screws the front pokes out. Try taking them out, reseat them and hand tight on the screws.
Are you sure there is a clutch in the PTU? Most haldex systems do not. If the front wheels are turning so is the PTU and the drive shaft. There is normally a clutch between the drive shaft and the RDU.
2024 Maverick FX4 Shadow black. Anything you want to stick on the truck do first after a proper cleaning and isopropyl alcohol wipe. Example, fender flares, hood protector, decals. This is my medium effort routine. Power wash the truck with a mild detergent, clay bar while wet and soapy, if the...
The BAP tail lights are starting to show up on eBay for around $260 for a pair. By the time you buy the zep, distilled water, denatured alcohol, four red LED brake/signal, two white projector LEDs ... It's getting closer to be a wash.
It's all 2.5. the factory pipe mics out around 2.375. going 3-in on a side exit while not impossible would pose some difficulties. The radius on the mandrel bends is larger,
Took out the Aero Turbine today. It sounded awesome but just to loud for an everyday driver. Here's what's in it now.
Street Max 12226 (Magnaflow same part#)
Aero Resonator TR253
Street Style Tip SS4025114CF
180° mandrel bend
90° mandrel bend
Turned out perfect! At startup and under normal...
So here's an update. Added a resonator behind the cat. It knocked out a lot of the drone... But there's still some drone. Aero Turbine AT2525 is a loud muffler. It does sound good but after almost 2 weeks it's got to go. If you want a loud rumbly deep sounding muffler the Aero and a resonator...
The carbon fiber is actually a sleeve over a black powder coated stainless tip, the sleeve is vented at the back so as exhaust comes out the tip it's pulling air between the sleeves and the tips. The carbon fiber gets warm but not ridiculously hot.
Pretty sure Lomax and Access offer a crossbar rack/tonneau cover combo. They're not cheap though. All the Ford accessories are rebranded third party. It's cheaper to buy from the manufacturer and skip the Ford sticker.
Cut the factory exhaust off in front of the muffler, did a 90 toward the passenger side into an Aero Turbine AT2525 then to a dual Carbon Fiber tip in front of the passenger tire. Tone is good, louder than stock but not obnoxious. There is some mild drone in the cabin at lower rpm's. Thought I...
They should kill the federal fuel tax. Feed the Federal highway fund with a new formula based on mileage driven and the weight of the vehicle for everyone. The means of propulsion should be irrelevant. A 3,500 lb vehicle that drives 10k miles a year should pay less than a 9,000 lb electric...
In front of the rear passenger tire is the logical place to put a side exit exhaust. That's where your factory muffler sits, so you already have the space, the heat shield and the hangers to accommodate that setup. If you were to exit in front of the left rear tire your exhaust would hang much...
