  1. Ford has forgotten who the customers are

While your first comment was indeed about dealer stock, you quickly abandoned that topic in your second comment. You didn't pivot back to dealer stock until 5 pages of comments later. Your second comment, and reply to a comment that wasn't about dealer stock, that we all were arguing against:
  2. Ford has forgotten who the customers are

We aren't discussing only the "shipping perspective." You keep ignoring the selling and building part, as if they these two parts of the chain are completely unrelated to shipping with respect to total efficiency and cost. And if they built and shipped in order of purchase, it would be even...
  3. Ford has forgotten who the customers are

You said that the entirety of what Ford does and what you did are "absolutely no different". Disagreeing with you is not a personal attack or trolling.
  4. Ford has forgotten who the customers are

They would have to wait longer and pay more.
  5. Ford has forgotten who the customers are

Again, you are only talking about the shipping part while ignoring everything else.
  6. Ford has forgotten who the customers are

No, they can't. And neither can the military. You keep insisting that the military using government funding to ship, ahem, 100s of vehicles to various bases is similar to Ford's entire logistical chain of selling, building and delivering 100,000s vehicles to private individuals in a...
  7. Thule XSporter Mid Pro Bed Rack is a great fit on 2022 Maverick!

I had the same issue with the gas cap. The first day I was walking around it I accidentally opened it multiple times. That cap will open under very little pressure.
  8. Ford knows about radio tuning problems

The problem I have had is with the tuning knob. When I turn the manual tuner knob it appears that the system is programmed to revert back to the previous station if the new set frequency is not picking up a station. But what happens to me, and it is much worse when it is cold outside, the...
  9. If you build out your engine...

Yes, the FWD is a torsion bar system so the AWD's fully independent rear would be an improvement.
  10. If you build out your engine...

Depends on what you exactly mean by building it out, and what your application will be for using that extra power. The AWD in the R is going to be more for handling tracks, not straight line. And I also would assume that the AWD in the Golf R is designed specifically for performance on the...
  11. Is The Lariat Worth It? - NO; Is The XLT Worth It? - NO

From the same person that said this: Just stop talking.
  12. Is The Lariat Worth It? - NO; Is The XLT Worth It? - NO

I blame myself for expecting logical consistency in this forum.
  13. Is The Lariat Worth It? - NO; Is The XLT Worth It? - NO

And now you drive a Taureg. You should probably sell that before anyone finds out how much of a modern wuss you are now.
  14. Taurus SHO, Maverick, Breakthrough Cars!

Yeah, and that V6 wound up to 7k, it was a fun car to drive.
  15. Taurus SHO, Maverick, Breakthrough Cars!

Yeah, and that V6 wound up to 7k, it was a fun car to drive. Pretty sure I still have the Car and Driver that had the one-off wagon on the cover.
  16. Taurus SHO, Maverick, Breakthrough Cars!

i think the Maverick will sell well, but I don’t quite share the optimism that it will be the best selling car in America. But the SHO was also kind of a dream car for me when it came out, and my dad‘s buddy had one so I got to be the passenger a few times. Maybe a year or two after you bought...
  17. Annoying "Some functions are disabled when moving....." warning.

Just an FYI, you not acknowledging the popup isn't preventing data collection.
  18. Annoying "Some functions are disabled when moving....." warning.

You can see my comment up a few posts. You can acknowledge/cancel the popups but not when in CarPlay mode. That is what I was initially confused about. But you will have to acknowledge the popup every time you drive it.
  19. Annoying "Some functions are disabled when moving....." warning.

So this has nothing to do with touching my screen. I figured out that the issue is with Ford Pass. If you activate Ford Pass in your Maverick's Sync system, you will get those warning popups. Deactivate Ford Pass, and you don't get either warning ever. Which sucks and is super annoying...
  20. Mistakes and Misunderstandings with Maverick Options

Keep in mind that you are on a forum for a vehicle that has only been out for a couple weeks and most people commenting don't even have one in their position yet. This is not typical for car enthusiast forums to start with. So instead of the forum filled with millions of posts about the same...
