Can you elaborate? I donāt yet have a Maverick. The 2022ās donāt have maps/navigation. So what exactly are you telling your insurance company about?
Oh wow sorry to hear that. Sam Pack Lewisville is supposed to be somewhat legit. I had my Lightning reservation with them but the sales guy was completely ignorant of facts so I switched it to Bill Utter in Denton. Just got a bad vibe from them. Now Iām glad I did. My son bought his MachE from...
Do this all the time in my F-150 but you're right, the Maverick window frame is less sturdy, so probably wouldn't load a bunch of 2x4's. But I think a few pieces of 10' PVC pipe would be fine.
You should ask your dealer - they all do it differently. If you were ordering from LM, the first and last characters are the salesperson initials. If your dealer does that you would be vehicle 7 and 8 from that salesperson. If they have 10 salespeople you are likely closer to #70 than #1.
Actually he said Unscheduled Clean not Scheduled Clean. He showed some orders that he had not done the COVP/ROVP process on yet and they showed status "Unscheduled Clean". He says the only way to confirm ROVP is to get the dealer confirmation they got from Ford. He said ROVP may take a few days...
Whatās really funny is at the bottom of any thread it lists āSimilar Threadsā. Invariably there are threads from a year ago with 10 pages of the same topic. Whether itās constraints or no confirmation email or clueless dealers. We are reliving history and not learning from it.
I think another thing that is going on is that the saleperson never entered your email address (or entered an incorrect one). I can see some dealers only entering their email address and not the customer because they want to be the one communicating to you and not want Ford doing it. Go back and...
Tim made a video for members Thursday showing him entering orders. He chooses the order number (for his orders its TxxB where xx is 00-99). But he was not able to Submit, only Save. Later that night he was able to submit and I got the Ford email. Bottom line, the order number is created by the...
I've read through hundreds of threads. If you haven't got an email (most are within hours) it's either because the order was not submitted properly, they entered an incorrect email address for you, or it went to spam. Your dealer should be able to show you some type of confirmation (their email...
Thank you for this. I was just about to start a new post with that question. On Tim's Mav video he said if you were going EB you should get AWD anyway (now required on Lariat EB but not XLT) because of the superior ride. I was going to ask what made the AWD ride superior. So there is a...
The order number is irrelevant. You did not get the 2199th Maverick ordered. It is dealer generated and they use all kind of ideas to come up with it. For example at Long McArthur the order code is the initials of the sales guy plus a number. Maybe you're number 2199 at your dealer ;)
I agree. And the reason the XL is constrained to 15% is because thatās how many seats they ordered from suppliers š. Same thing happened with Lightning. People wanted the Pro, aka XL, but Ford only wanted to produce 5% of them.
I predict youāll be able to find dealer stock next year of XLT...
I had a Lightning reservation from Five Star Lewisville and got very frustrated as well with their lack of knowledge. I transferred it to Bill Utter in Denton - there is a salesguy that returns calls and emails promptly and they are MSRP. Son bought a Mach-E there. Five Star only gave verbal...
I think it's great that rollovers want to go to Tim, his service is worth it. But I'm uneasy that they would get a better priority than someone that has had their pre-order in for weeks. I get that it sucks having to start over but that should be with your original dealer and not jumping in...
I think timestamp may matter only within the dealer queue since allocation is the main factor for scheduling. And if within that dealer they give rollovers a lower priority code then that will get picked before an earlier order at that dealer. Assuming no constraints of course.
