These crank shafts as i understand where originally put in 2022 escapes.. but some were left over after that recall and ended up in maybe my maverick :( But knowing how people love to go to court, has anyone yet been hurt badly or killed i don't think so.. but the vehicles were toast...

I'm not sure that is a local issue.. I think it is a Ford the company issue... Think if someone dies after they sold a truck they knew could catch fire? Not going to court to defend that...lol

A 2024 xl base is under 24k No miles full warenty.. I'd search for that before i'd take what i see as a loss...and make sure about recalls on the one you are looking at....
