I went the cheap route. This is a $30 outdoor mat from Home depot. Trimmed to fit it leaves just the right amount for the tailgate. I attached with screws that hold the tailgate plate on. Happy so far.

I have the same soft roll up on my Mav. We don't get a lot of rain here but sometimes it does come down in buckets. Never had any problems. I did the install.

I always have the windows up and usually music playing (rarely above 12). I hear the backup beep but the low speed fwd safety sound? I've never heard it. My truck seems very quiet at all times except when I'm thrashing the ICE. I may be going deaf. Just ask my wife.

Cherokee has a Lariat and I believe the Sync/Lariat folk do not have the backup camera freeze issue like the Pseudo Sync of the XL and XLT. Hence no recall for it. Whoops, Tbone beat me to it.

This is applicable to "keyless entry" only!!! @HeyBales pointed out this is for "keyless entry" trucks only. Must be set in settings otherwise. Or... just program the fob for single stage unlock with the fob buttons. The truck lights will flash to indicate change is complete.

50K brake replacement is not cause for bragging rights on any light vehicle. The Focus 5sp that the Mav replaced got new front brakes at 125K and rear at 200K. Jury is out on the Mav. Still looking good at 20K.

I never felt so disconnected from the road on the freeway in the rain as I did with the OEM Contis' . Like I was in a boat floating. Moved to Falken WP AT3W (500 mile take offs I got a great deal on) after 6K miles and much happier.
