There are quite a few Wildpeak reviewers on YouTube who have talked about getting 40K or even 50K life on them, in part because they start with a deep tread. But there are 3 or 5 different types of Wildpeak. I think the AT is different than the AT3W that came on some Mavericks, and there are...
New to Maverick, which replaced a Ram 1500 we thought was too big for our present stage of life. 6 vehicles around the house at present. Other than Maverick:
Wife driving this BMW X5 we bought new in 2014 and after 10 years still looks great!
My daily driver is a Tesla Model S Plaid, which...
Installed this one over the weekend, and it is running great. Fast to connect. I plugged it in and used a double stick tape (included) to fold it back under and affix it out of the way and invisible to the eye except for the USB end plugged in. Works perfectly.
The Ford version is out of production, so I bought the Lincoln branded version as others have done. Some have removed the Lincoln emblem and replaced it with different logos. I don't really care what logo is on it. I'm not showing people my engine - I wanted the sound dampening for the...
Installed the fender insulators this weekend along with the engine cover on my ‘24 XLT EB, and drove about 100 miles over the course of Saturday a Sunday. My take is that together these parts made a nice sound reduction In the cabin and outside.
$2200 under MSRP and didn't finance. Did not qualify for any of the college grad or military type incentives. Fairly easy to do - could have drug it out and pressed for more.
Hi guys.
Regarding the registration fee, we also have a Tesla in the garage, and we pay that extra EV registration fee every year at tag renewal time. I can't remember the number but it's like $200 a year, apparently to replace the state's lost gas taxes.
But I think it only is applicable to...
I second the prior recommendation for CarGurus. I just did this 2 weeks ago. The filtering options are great and I found a great number of alternatives (very close to your spec - in fact I saw some with your spec). I had 5 or 6 conversations going at one time which concluded within 3 or 4...
I'm not really disagreeing with you, but
1) it always happens with no notice - there's no other way to give notice
2) there probably are a great many products you are buying today from companies that "screws over" or previously screwed over its US workers.
It's emotional, and I get you. If...
I see complaining as too strong of an adjective but, sure, I think that perspective comes from two things:
1. there are those who think Ford's price hikes have been aggressive. I recently bought a '24, but the same truck was 3,200 cheaper in 2022, or about 11%. To your point, I saw the value...
Not a fan of the design choice, but I doubt it will materially impact sales of the Maverick. Taken as a whole it remains an attractive and generally inoffensive design. There are far more controversial designs that have been accepted over time - looking at you Cybertruck.
Agreed. Those indents, which are likely just molded in, are a clear design choice but are also what make that look like an afterthought, a tacked on panel. I’m sure they tried it without those indents and perhaps the vast expanse of plastic was too much and needed something to break it up...
Actually, I think the FX4 comes with Pirelli scorpions? These came from the factory with the wheel option for a total of $795. I did not install these. All the Mavericks I have seen on various dealer lots with this wheel option have the Wildpeak tires.
On aftermarket wheels, I think consumers are often trying to take it one of two different directions - one direction towards "trail/offroad" vibe or the other towards "street truck". Several great suggestions here from others that look great and make sense for either direction, so maybe you...
Nice Lightning - love those.
I just bought a '24 but agree on the interior and I think that's the reason to not overspend on Maverick. The interior is "plastic fantastic" no matter what trim, so don't go crazy. The value is really at the XL, though I bought an XLT.
