I got the Ford mats first and any dust on your shoes left marks on them that needed soap and water to remove. I priced the Tuxmat and Weather Tech mats and they were exactly the same price in Canada, and both were made in Canada. The Tuxmat have the best coverage of all and easy to clean. The...
I found that practice extremely dangerous, and when I experienced it for the first time, it scared the crap out of me. Very loud Harleys coming up on you while you're stopped was crazy.
So the dealer wanted $490 to do a drop and fill and half the fluid would be the old fluid and half new fluid. Sounds like more of a waste of money than getting it all changed. Whatever turns your crank I guess.
It's all so weird. I took my 2011 Taurus to my mechanic and it had about 125000Ks on it. His response was I'll do it but it's not necessary. I just assumed because it had over 100000 clicks on it, and I was driving to California from Ontario Canada, it would be a good idea.
It just seems that...
I put $2400 into the car with four new tires, a thousand dollars for a rust repair, a safety inspection, mandatory, oil change, and my son gave me $2000 for it. So yea I gave him the car and $400 and they put 20000 more clicks on it and it's still like new. No regrets for anyone. It wasn't a...
I changed mine on my previous car at 150K at my mechanic's shop which he recommended, using a proper vacuum type of an exchanger, and pan removal for $250 including filter change. The vacuum exchange removes more of the old fluid than just dropping the pan. Sold the car at 240K with zero issues...
I don't hate it, but to me it looks like an after-thought. Well it's time we made a change so let's just put this big plastic peice over the 2024 and cover half the front lights. I must say I've gotten used to it, but still not a great fan. But---- it's still a Maverick, and that's a good thing.
They 'd have to match tuxmat for coverage and price and look as good. My experience with weather tech was when foggies got in and catch a heel on an edge, they would bend an it was impossible to get them back to their proper shape without a heat gun, or finally just trimming them down.
I'd be smoking Crack if I lived with those speeds every day. I remember driving in California in the two per car lane doing 85 beside a solid lane of stopped traffic, and thinking that this is absolute craziness.
