You need to remember that the back wall of the bed is the back wall of the cab. Tie stuff down, or you will be bending the back wall of the box into your cabin space. Could damage equipment mounted on the cab wall of your cab.
Only problem with that, is Ford, or any other manufacturer, use AAA as their roadside assist. They don't have fleets of tow trucks sitting around waiting for calls for roadside assistance. I had to use AAA for a lockout last summer and it was 120 minute wait.

I'm 6.0, and have noticed zero difference in mirror placement in my 24 Maverick than I did with my 2011 Ranger or Taurus. I notice your picture is taken up near the ceiling of your Maverick.
The wiper arms will move out from under the hood manually, grab them and move them up out from under the hood. you can then lift them off of the windshield. Just make sure you move them back in normal position before you start the engine or remote start.
Didn't say heating drains the battery, but all those other things like heated seat ,steering wheel radio and fans does drain the battery, so you are driving in hybrid instead of electric.
Just look at your information on your dashboard after a winter drive compared to a summer drive. My hybrid during the summer would run on electric for about a third of the miles. During this winter of very cold weather, I've dropped from 33% electric to about 10% electric. Driving at 75 mph also...
