Is a harness plugged into the trailering connector? If so, the sensor is active triggering the alert. I had to add a second trailer wiring system to my truck to prevent this. I run a lighted step bumper tied to stop and turn signals which triggered the alert all the time and defeated my back and...
I was not in the market for a new vehicle. My ten year old Jeep Cherokee with 141k on her was running like new. Still looking good too. But I started thinking about how much longer that would be true. Then saw a Maverick and wondered what it was. A guy at the gym let me drive his new one. We...
I added a lighted step bumper and wanted the brake light to work on it. To enable that and retain Bliss functionality, I bought a trailer harness online to add another four way connector to plug it into. Plug and play into the passenger side tailight and works great!
I've had a 2025 Lariat Hybrid AWD 4KT for 12 months now. There was a lot to learn, and a few items to fix/change/turn off. Slightly more complex learning event as with any new vehicle. I just kept playing with it to learn what was where and the settings it had. It tool 6 months but I am now very...
I hav the same dilemma wih my 2025 green machine. All other trim is black so Iām leaning toward that but want it o pop somehow. Maybe Iāll try black graphite.
I had this same thing happen with a bike rack in the hitch and tailgate up. Extremely annoying! I put it in trailer mode to fix it, but doing that loses the blind spot warning which I value. Not one of Fordās better ideas.
One of my biggest pet peeves is all that display area and no 6 guage dash like an F150 too. What a waste! Also, not retaining display selections across ignition cycles. Automotive engineering 101 FAIL!!!
For my ā25 Maverick Hybrid AWD Lariat I made my own from a high mount brake light added to my step bumper and plugged it into the 4-way trailer connector. It works great. Even though there is no trailer connected, the system assumes there is and defeats almost all safety systems that I still...
Guess Iāll find out. Bought a high mount stop lamp (chimsel $5 on marketplace) to put on my step bumper. Plugged it in and have stop, turn and hazards functioning low along with standard DOT lighting. I guess I may have to unplug it if I need the safety gizmos.
I am having the same issue. Selected screens donāt stick. Also, every ignition cycle resets ALL settings back to default. Maddening! Need a SW update to fix this and reduce the dang seatbelt warning that takes over the cluster. Maddening!! Oh, by the way, where are the gages? This IS a Ford...
I believe it figured the total mileage by adding the gas and electric miles for a total of 683 divided by the 13.1 gals used. I get about 52.1 mpg from that.
