  1. Drove a Mav first edition yesterday

I took out a used First Edition FX4 maverick yesterday to finally drive one. I have to say, it's probably the best vehicle I have ever driven. I have owned everything from Jeep to Mercedes. The previous best vehicle I have driven was the ioniq 5 SUV from hyundai. It was super comfortable and...
  2. Don't attempt this in a Maverick

I prefer long distance back country travel. packing up for a week and just go explore.
  3. Don't attempt this in a Maverick

I know the difference. They think the front end on the bronco is like a front end of a corolla. My brother and friend are jeepers. i used to be, but I would buy a FSB vs a wrangler any day of the week.
  4. Another alternative to the RTT for overlanding, similar to the Thule Outset

This is what we have. It's the best lightweight camper I have used. GO Camping Trailer - SylvanSport
  5. Don't attempt this in a Maverick

thank you for posting this. For way to long Jeep'ers have been S*^Tposting about the FS bronco. Turn around is fair play.
  6. My Maverick Tremor Build Part 2. Baja / KC light bar

greetings from Newfoundland Canada. FMC, can we get some good quality parts for the mav like this custom front light mount? It would be awesome to have everything added at the dealer level. Overland rack, softtopper, fender flares, most importantly a winch mount/light mount for the front for...
  7. Has anyone swapped out their Tremor wheels

Can I get one of those light mounts made when I get my mav? I would love to have that!
  8. Eibach Pro Lift Kit installed photos before & after

Great lift. There is still some rake correct?
  9. My Maverick rides very rough. Has anyone changed the shocks

Im just old. I would fit right in with it.
  10. My Maverick rides very rough. Has anyone changed the shocks

I would buy the crap out of that if it was close and in that condition. Drive it to 300k and then crush it. Maybe 500k if I rust check it.
  11. RC Loaded N3 vs. FX4 Shocks

I hope they don't. Just giving my experience with their product on my personal rig.
  12. Eibach 2" Spring Lift Installed

No problem. I am not new to tuning vehicles. I worked with Subaru Canada when they ran the first targa newfoundland to set up their rally cars because I knew all the roads!
  13. RC Loaded N3 vs. FX4 Shocks

Just use the tremor shocks. They don't change the payload, towing capacity of your rig. Just make it control the weight better as they are upgraded and a little longer for the lift. I think it will be perfect with the eibachs. We had a change of plans as we were recently gifted for a very...
  14. Eibach 2" Spring Lift Installed

Yes, you have an XL, but does it have the FX4 package on it? if not, that could be your issue as the FX4 has upgraded shocks. But like I said, if you are going to replace the shocks, the Tremors will be the way to go. Everything will bolt up etc. I bet it would be ideal off road.
  15. Eibach 2" Spring Lift Installed

tire size will not change this issue. If you don't have an FX4, You can try the struts and shocks off one of those to see if you are going to see a change, and really if you are doing that, might as well go tremor.
  16. RC Loaded N3 vs. FX4 Shocks

Agreed. I actually think The tremors would be close to the bilstiens. Every set of bilstiens I owned were lackluster to me.
  17. RC Loaded N3 vs. FX4 Shocks

I was agreeing with you on the tremor shocks. But stating there is no Eibach shock available.
  18. Eibach 2" Spring Lift Installed

Shock "topping" out by the sound of it. Is it when the suspension extends?
  19. RC Loaded N3 vs. FX4 Shocks

Eibach does not make struts or shocks for the Mav do they? Tremors for sure....Eibach only makes the springs.
  20. Eibach Prototype Coilovers @ Overland Expo West?

FIY people. Flatout uses Eibach springs in their lifts. Just a public service announcement. That being said, the Regular Eibach 2 inch lift, does that lift the front and rear the same height to keep the rake?
