  1. Motor Trend Maverick Hybrid First Test Review: Thrifty, Awesome Fun

I don't always agree with JASmith on things but he is 100% spot on. There isn't anything wrong with rear torsion beam and it is not a knock towards the hybrid or FWD ecoboost models. It is just a cost-effective way of doing things. Of course, it also utilizes force vectoring springs in the rear...
  2. New Maverick FX4 off-road review with BFGoodrich Trail Terrain T/A tires [Driving Sports TV]

I can't speak for the OEM's, but the aftermarket is really hurting with shortages. We have customers waiting 4+ months of some lift kits, 12+ months for certain winches, and there are A LOT of tires on back order. Things are set to get worse with the magnesium shortage.
  3. Michelin CrossClimate 2 tires?

A few coworkers run CrossClimate2 on their cars and really like them.
  4. Order confirmed, question on Details

That is wrong. You should have gotten something like this. This is an vehicle order confirmation form that is submitted to Ford that shows the vehicle and all the options. EDIT: Sometimes the order confirmation email from Ford will not show all the options, but I've never heard of the color...
  5. AWD and FX4

Sure, if you buy the Type R 😉
  6. Maverick AWD Offroad Review by Driving Sports TV

I actually really enjoy Ryan's videos because he does things in stock configuration as much as possible. It is also worth noting that car manufacturers don't allow any changes to the vehicle when reviewing it, so it levels the playing field for all reviews regardless of if he owns the vehicle or...
  7. My First Truck - Wheels & Tires Questions (sorry - Newbe)

    1) Can the dealership raise the truck 6". Not really doable on a unibody vehicle unless you want to do some SERIOUS custom fabrication work. Depending on the suspension geometry, you could probably get 2" out of it. However, increasing it will negatively affect fuel economy. 2) If 1) is a "no"...
  8. Bad news on aftermarket wheels / tires / etc

I miss the adage of RTFM :sneaky:
  9. Already an issue - bad window seal

It appears to be tucked inside the window channel? Frustrating for sure but it is a super simple fix that will take seconds to correct.
  10. Soft paint? Rock chips after 400 miles

Ugh, that is one of the reasons I opted for the paint I did, despite both Cactus Gray and Area 51 being my top choices. I read way too much on the Bronco Sport forums about paint issues between the two colors. I would touch those up and get PPF on your vehicle ASAP.
  11. Chapman Ford allocations & delivery?

I got an email from Ford that my truck has been shipped! The estimated delivery date is 11/11 but from what I've read on here and Reddit, it can very much come sooner!
  12. Fun Maverick Colors

    We can both dream!
  13. 2.0 AWD Real World MPG???

Holy crap, what a terrible experience. Sounds like a great reason to go on an extended drive to hit the 1000 mile mark.
  14. Chapman Ford allocations & delivery?

Oh, I am definitely getting it haha. I just happened to Google the VIN and the site popped up. There are nearly 100 Mavericks listed on their site so I am guessing their ERP system automatically lists the vehicle once its hits production.
  15. Chapman Ford allocations & delivery?

My truck officially popped up on Chapmans site - 2022 Ford MAVERICK Horsham PA 44403558 (chapmanautogroup.com)
