I should also mention that crawling on a bedliner's or the bed's ribs is extremely painful for my old worn out knees. The bed mat helps ease that discomfort for me.

I had Line-X sprayed in last Monday. I dislike plastic bedliners. I am putting in an inexpensive ( $ 99.95) rubber bed mat on top of Line-X. The Line-x protects from rust and the bed mat will hopefully save the floor of the bed from dings and dents. That is my plan anyway.
