I read people had issues with CP after IOS 18.5 upgrade. I bought my Lobo 5 weeks ago and my CP has had no issues, I have IOS 18.4.1 . I have not upgraded to to 18.5 because of the issues I read about.
I think it would be easier if we refer to the new engine as MPC 2.0 ECO BOOST. 2025 model year Maverick start. Previous Mavericks do not have this engine. Current issues, comments and you tubes do not apply to the MPC engine. It's unfortunate Ford has not really discussed this new engine. My...
I live in California and my LOBO is a J2 build. it does not have a GPF because they will not be installed until J3 . My question is, if they can sell it without the filter now why do they need to add it at all?
I bought my LOBO (402A) because of the look and price. I like the painted bumpers, fog lights, fake leather seats and BAP wheels ( didn't like the "frying-pan" wheels). With employee pricing, the sticker was 35,173 < 40k out the door. It drives great, has responsive handling and is still a...
Gasoline Particulate Filter- for emissions in CARB states. This was originally thought to reduce hp by 12, after further testing, this is not the case. 250 hp just like before but, with an all new MPC engine that was started with 2.3L eco boost in 2024 Mustang.
Here's what I have found:
A new engine from the ground up that incorporates Ford’s new Modular Power Cylinder (MPC) engine architecture, driving prowess in design and function – and is targeted to have improved EPA-estimated fuel economy over the outgoing model year***. It uses a new Bore to...
MPC 2.0 Eco boost has 250 HP and 280 lbft of torque. GPF currently, does not reduce hp. Also, no GPF's installed before job3. luckily, I have a job2 build .
So, no job 2 builds have the GPF. This happens with job 3. My truck is a California truck, it still would not have GPF. Also, how come Ford does not promote new MPC 2.0 Eco boost?
I am surprised Ford is not saying anything about the new MPC Eco-boost engine. The dealers don't know or don't mention this new engine. Latest engine design architecture, direct and port fuel injection, cast valve cover etc.
I opted for the optional wheels. The turbine wheel concept is cool but the proportions are off, vents should be larger, "frying pan" should be smaller with more dish to it. Currently too flat for me personally.
