Nope, nothing you see in that photo is near $20,000. Doesn't bother me as I'm interested in these upper trims, but take 85% of the "nice" things you see here and remove them to get the "base" model. LoL!
Appears to share some of Bronco Sport's interior palette, which is to be expected and not a bad thing, personally.
Having available moonroof, is a good thing. I like them and would for sure choose package or standalone option to include.
I thought this was cancelled? Haha!
Nice to see Ford actually acknowledge, officially, this product exists, not that I doubted it's existence.
I'm excited to learn more about this product. I hope it checks a healthy amount of my personal boxes.
I think you are seeing the difference between FWD, twist beam rear suspension on that particular Maverick mule vs. AWD, multi-link suspension on Bronco Sport. Given that, there for sure could be a difference in "official" ground clearance when comparing the differences in rear suspensions. I'd...
Nice to see next to the Bronco Sport for comparison. It is just as I expected, and that's a good thing for me personally. This may actually be the first Ford I own. I usually don't order a brand new vehicle at launch either, and this could be a first for me in that regard as well. I hope some of...
I'm all for BEV, if it makes sense for my particular drive cycle and needs. I would transition to a hybrid or plug-in hybrid, but not yet ready to jump all in on BEV. I'll let the technology mature another cycle before I jump into such. The last thing I want is a 5,000lb compact vehicle that...
Did they pull the video/ photo? I'm subscribed and don't see such under their 'TFL Truck' channel.
I do have glasses on, but that's not saying much! Haha!
Indeed, for what the Bronco Sport is, 7.8" ground clearance on the Base trim and 8.8" on the Badlands trim (w/ optional tire set I believe) are fairly decent for the segment of vehicle. Comparable to the Jeep Renegade and Compass as well as the Subaru Crosstrek products the share segment space.
Haha! I've had those used on me before. First thing I did was rip it in 4 pieces and started with cost of new vehicle square and handed it to the salesperson. No joke, they didn't have scissors, so I improvised and ripped instead. The look on their face was great. I stated they don't get to move...
I've thought about such, but Ford is pretty sneaky and annoyed at their suppliers for previous unauthorized "leaks". They are too far long to change bodywork, and the like. One thing I can see them doing is potentially offering an engine choice that wasn't initially supposed to be offered at...
Interested in Maverick’s more compact dimensions. I prefer a decent I4T and 8+AT w/ AWD configuration for a fairly responsive powertrain and one that likely will see north of 21MPG for my short drive cycles. I’m not a base model guy, so likely one that is well equipped, even if it straddles the...
Indeed, went with 16" steelies with a size down in width, and chose a sidewall close enough to maintain stock overall diameter. Stock rims were 17". I got great life out of the General Altimax Arctic branded tires, believe I ran them winter months only from 2009 to 2018 on the same set. They...
I have since retired my 2007 Honda Civic Si sedan I purchased new 14 years ago from winter driving. I never once had an issue with typical NY State snow roads, but I always utilized dedicated winter tries from November to April. It had its limitations, just as anything else, that if the snow...
At a minimum, I’m hoping that Ford includes a 2.3T engine option. I’d be okay on a high trim level option due to as I’d be purchasing upper trim anyway. I know that overlaps with current Ranger’s sole engine offering, but I’m really looking for an engine option with some bite in the compact...
