Well I charged my battery today for 4.5 hours on my Hybrid 12 volt battery at the jump connections under the hood. . It was at 12.1 volts now 12.4 volts. The charger showed it was hardly taking any more after 4.5 hours. I have dome lights and the ford pass app shows no disable message anymore...
Hey the ford app is no big deal.BUT no dome lights ARE. If you have NOT lost your dome lights yet then I guess your good to go. I took my mav for a longer ride today and have dome lights again. BUT should I really NEED to. NO . I only had mine since August 2023. Its clear its a real problem. I...
More info on this AGM battery would be much appreciated.
I did a google search on Weize Type 47/H5 AGM battery but got dozens of results all different. Price varied greatly too.
What modification was needed for it to fit?
Went to gym about 3 miles from home. In gym 1.5 hours, had no dome light when I got in car and none after drive to gym. After return I had dome light but it only lasted maybe 30 seconds but lighter stayed powered after car shut off. It wasn't earlier today. It normally stays powered after shut...
You sure on not connecting a charger to the battery itself under the seat. I know where the jump points are under the hood. Thats the best place FOR SURE?? I may connect charger in another day if I keep losing my dome lights and ford pass app.
10 volts and i can guarantee it wont get a ready on dash for sure at 10 volts. Mine still showing over 12 volts and no dome lights.
Now today my cigarette lighter unless car is running shows no voltage so I cant even read battery voltage like after i shut Mav off cigarette lighter would stay...
I have now started having the interior lights not going on. Also the ford pass app not working deep sleep mode. Winter has finally hit in Buffalo NY. Not doing much driving plus when I do at most maybe 15 miles. It seems the people not having any issues are in warmer areas.
I have a voltage...
Same reason I have snows, Blizzak ws 90 Stopping is the key. Plus keep fartgher back when it snows. Then if I have to stop fast I look behind me to see if I will be rear ended and am ready to accelerate to the side. Saved me once in the past different vehicle.
Mine sat for about the same and started up BUT I did notice no interior lights at first. So it was low when you get no interior lights. Mine is xlt hybrid. After driving interior lights back on. Plus no ford pass app at first. Mine was outside
Bigger wheels with the overall diameter kept the same means smaller sidewalls. Less sidewall less to absorb impacts so rougher ride. Physics. apply. BUT is it enough of a differ acne to make a difference is the question,.
I did get to ride in two different versions of a suv one had 17 the other...
I have yet to do remote start on my xlt mav hybrid BUT on my past 2020 ecoport SE when In used the app to start in the winter it was heat and in summer it was ac. Oh, heated driver seat came on too in winter. The blower was on high in winter on defrost. No lights on heat controls BUT it was...
If the computer cutting in and out is the cause and nothing wrong with the steering rack itself .I wonder if the rack could have been damaged now. Its not only snapping the steering wheel but the big tires on the ground too.
Weird my insurance went down. I had a 2020 Ford Ecosport SE AWD now Hybrid Mav xlt went down 100 every 6 months so 200 savings for the year. Gieco.
You pay 200 a MONTH!!!! 2400 a year!!!!!!!
NO NO NO. I remember back when the S10 blazer was out. It had a full frame. The dealer I worked at put a small plow on it. The frame broke a few times. Mav no full frame I wouldn't.
What is the diameter of the snows you have? That is key NOT the width. Tire Rack can be used to look up factory tire diameter and if they carry the snows you have then they have that diameter listed too,. I wouldn't use them if its off by much. Maybe a tenth of an inch at most. Funny thing I...
I have prepped new cars back in the 90's. The seats are covered in plastic the license plate holders are not installed plus a few other things. About 45 minute job to get ready . Plus you must check seat belts and all fluid plus test drive vehicle .At least that was supposed to be done at...
