Wtf is wrong with this company? I was already on the fence about the package. Seemed overpriced, but I really wanted black seats. Their tool even shows black seats. The difference is night and day. How is there such a disconnect between the marketing and engineering/design team. It’s BAP, not GAP.

If a private offer exists (which it should by now if you meet the criteria), Ford CS is 100% the place to obtain it. The dealer will have no idea. I’ve had mine since 9/13.

You need to proactively contact Ford customer service to get the certificate number. They will not reach out to you about it. I called CS to ask if it could be applied to the order and they said I need to reach out to my dealer to attach it.

I did the exact same thing when I saw orders actually getting scheduled with BAP. Two days later, viola! Scheduled!

I would have considered doing a 36mo loan, if the rates were what they were early this year. My credit union had a 0.99% APR for 24/36 months. Basically free money. 🤣 Now they are closer to 5%

I’ve never paid MSRP for a car either, but I’m perfectly willing to now, vs. the alternative - trying to move a year old order to another dealer. Unprecedented times. I’m just happy I have the cash and don’t have to deal with these exorbitant interest rates.

I’m always curious how people get these orders at or under invoice, given the current car market. Is it based on finance terms or something? I’m just happy my dealer is charging MSRP.

It’s a miracle! 5 days shy of a year since initial order, and several petty posts this last few weeks due to new 2023 orders being scheduled. Just re-added BAP less than 48 hours ago when I saw them getting scheduled in large-ish quantities.

Ordered in November of 2021. Never a word from Ford. Unscheduled/Clean for 12 months now. The silence continues.

This is not an “informed” email. These come out every 45 days for the better part of a year. They are literally the equivalent of radio silence. If you don’t resent them yet, you soon will too!

All these people droning on about “new order, but I was first at my dealer for 23 MY”. I literally went to my dealer on the 15th as soon as people on the forum said order banks had opened. I was ~24 hours post-op. Wouldn’t leave until they put my order in. So definitely first, and a rollover...

This is such horses***. If a dealer didn’t have rollovers, they still should have placed orders at priority code 19. This is why this needs to be done at a company-level, not a dealer-level. I am at a year of waiting as of next week, and I’m seeing similarly spec’d new 23 orders getting...

I’d also check out CarMax. Sold a newer vehicle right before the shortage really started getting bad and they offered me what I paid.
