  1. Drive my Maverick more than I expected

Easy access is one of the main reasons I bought one. With a hip replacement and lumbar fusion surgery on my spine, it was a no-brainer. I slipped on a running board of a taller truck and fell in a parking lot. Luckely no damage was done.
  2. Does your AWD Mav clunk in the rear when slowing down (braking) at around the 13 mph mark?

My 24 2.0 awd does is all the time. Going to ask Ford for acknowledgement that that it's ok and won't cause issues down the road.
  3. Firestone Destination AT2 Review - 50,000 Miles

I have to agree somewhat. Many factors contributed. More tires from the left rear than others which would be the heavier side when just the driver in vehicle, lower inflation, more failures in warmer climates (calif, Arizona). I hired in at Akron Bridgestone/Firestone shortly before the recall...
  4. 2025 AWD Hybrid making thunk or thud noise from the rear at around 13 mph when braking

My 24 awd ecoboost also "seems" to lug in colder weather. I have been using the tow/haul mode and it doesn't seem to lug. About the "thump" noise when slowing down to 13 mph. I talked to a service writer at the dealership and he was going to "look" into it. He said many people have mentioned it...
  5. How the Maverick AWD system actually works (video explanation)

My 24 lariat has it on the dash screen
  6. Firestone Destination AT2 Review - 50,000 Miles

It was more of a Ford problem than Firestone,
  7. How the Maverick AWD system actually works (video explanation)

Why does it re-engage when slowing down?
  8. How the Maverick AWD system actually works (video explanation)

I guess this is why I hear a light "thump" noise when slowing down at usually 13 mph. Thought there was something wrong.
  9. 2025 AWD Hybrid making thunk or thud noise from the rear at around 13 mph when braking

Has anyone heard what this is or a solution? It happens every time on my 24 Lariat at 13 MPH.
  10. FordPass App is now the “Ford App” (new version 6.0)

The "next departure" is poorly worded. I was told by Ford people it meant the time when you've scheduled a remote start time.
  11. FordPass App is now the “Ford App” (new version 6.0)

What does "next departure" mean? Mine says "none" and the words next departure are almost in the center and touching the mi.
  12. Brake Creep Groan?

After approx. 13,500 miles, the BCG is about 90% gone (for now). Must have worn down the metal in the pads. What a relief.
  13. Does your AWD Mav clunk in the rear when slowing down (braking) at around the 13 mph mark?

That's exactly what they said to me. The test driving tech did finally say that he did feel it, bring it back when/if it gets louder. 24 Lariat.
  14. Does your AWD Mav clunk in the rear when slowing down (braking) at around the 13 mph mark?

Let's just say that the thud or noise sounds and feels like it's coming from somewhere in the drive train. Ans yes I have an 24 lariat eb.
  15. Does your AWD Mav clunk in the rear when slowing down (braking) at around the 13 mph mark?

Like I said in my post, even just coasting down to 13 mph, with no braling applied, my 24 does it 100% of the time.
  16. Does your AWD Mav clunk in the rear when slowing down (braking) at around the 13 mph mark?

I don't believe braking is the issue. Just do a normal stop or coast down to 12/13 mph. My 24 Lariat awd does it 100% of the time. I think it's something to do with downshifting.
  17. 2025 AWD Hybrid making thunk or thud noise from the rear at around 13 mph when braking

My 24 Lariat awd does the same thing, also at 13 mph. Dealer tech test drove it with me in pass. seat and at first he said he couldn't hear it but felt it. He ran my vin and said no issues were mentioned. I drove it with tc off and like another person said, the thump magically disappeared. Back...
