According to Autostop Eliminator, no need to remove the inline device when taking it to the dealer.

For those of you installing the device, use a a small adjustable wrench to help you "wiggle" the plug out. Try not to disturb the wires.

Thanks for your post! Did you have an easy time removing the connector on the back side of the DLC plug? I cant seem to pull it out.

2-2x8s work perfectly with my BAK Flip MX4 tonneau cover. The two pieces are jointed together with Velcro strips and will be painted black. Confirmed that cut length is precisely 54-1/4”.

Got the BAK Flip MX4 from Amazon. Great fit and solid. Took me about an hour to install.

I sold my 2005 Toyota Tacoma. Not a four wheel drive, just a pavement princess but she was a great ride while it lasted. 100k miles, great condition, and sold it to a friend for $16,500.

I installed the Ford OEM mud flaps because I couldn't stand the rooster tails on my truck from the dirty roads. Looks great too and it was easy to install.

I just ordered my tailgate spoiler . . . looks great! In the meantime, I installed a front lip spoiler for now and also may consider the side rails.

I installed the BAKFlip MX4 in about an hour. Good fit and looks great. I picked it up from Amazon and canceled the one I ordered from my Ford dealer. Now I need to organize my truck bed.
