I had an 84 fiero with the 4cyl 4 speed and didn't have any problems all the way up until I put a v8 in it haha. Afterwards it was more a problem of keeping front tires on the ground then worry about a fire. 😁
I won't be ordering my 2nd maverick till the 2024 models atleast. My first maverick was pure unadulterated shit luck. I bought mine in OCTOBER from a dealer without ordering and it was pretty close to what I would have ordered (I would have left out the moon roof cause they serve no purpose TO...
Wow I have 20k on my tires and they are still going strong but I have the faulken Wildpeak AT3W tires that came on mine. Maybe a bad batch from Pirelli. I think steedia makes both braces already, I have a race chip that I bought back in December but not installing it till my warranty is up...
Anyone with the eb that gets below 28mpg is either doing 90 all the time or driving it like the stole it. I'm st almost 20k my average is 31 and I live in Maine where you have to search to find flat ground. The hybrid gets better gas milage no doubt about that.
days
The wood isn't oak. Usually a mix of Maple and ash with a little white birch. But your weight isn't too far off when you account for the trailer we figured somewhere near 5500-6000. It's not something I do on a daily basis but the truck handles it fine just kills my gas milage
No doubt on that but the AWD maverick is the best vehicle I have driven in the snow and in Maine if you don't drive in the snow then you end up getting fired from your job haha
Great to hear Bud/gal, but when a vehicle has gotten enough issues to warrant people filing a lawsuit due to in their word "being an unsafe vehicle" then I will be glad to not have owned it. I due recommend upgrading to the AWD when it comes out if you live anywhere it snow my ecoboost was...
Almost 19k on my XLT FX4 4K and still love it getting between 30-32mpg Religiously. If they ever put out a Maverick Raptor of maybe "F-18 Edition" (you know why 😁) then I'll upgrade if not I'll just keep swapping mavericks till 2029 or till China finally blows its top over Taiwan and blows us up
I with you I'm waiting for the Maverick Raptor or "F-18" editions. I'll probably go up to the 2024 maverick when it comes out by then they should have put them out I hope
Ya I was always gonna get the AWD but the hybrid motor was not gonna happen for me even if they had a hybrid version and to be honest I am glad I did. I was just reading today about a lawsuit that people are filing because they have had so many issues causing the hybrids to be unsafe (not saying...

This problem was over the winter with a few different members observing it. Ford pushed an update from what I gathered in March to fix it
There are some that both types shared like the factory SIBL on the original runs having damaged the fuel tank, the rear seat belts, trailer brake controller being faulty. I didn't have any of those problems on my ecoboost but I did have a bad seal on my wiring harness that cause water...
Catalytic converters getting glowing red hot when the remote start is used, and issues with regen braking are the ones I can think of off the top of my head and I have seen reports of DOA hybrid batteries but I don't know how true the last one is.
Your not wrong and hopefully ford will have figured out their hybrid issues for those of you that get a MY23 as current MY22 owners for ford hybrids (not just mavericks) are being told to park their vehicles away from the house incase it catches fire and that isn't counting the other issues the...
Should add that the 30mpg is for highway at 70mph if we are talking more like 55-60 then I get about about 33-35 depending on if I really baby it driving normally it's about 33
I have just over 17k on my ecoboost awd fx4 4k and I get around 30 mpg give or take a mile. The AWD system is great in the snow...like unstoppable. I live in Maine and I have had mine since October. I will say I have the optional tires on mine (were on it from factory) the 235 Faulken Wildpeak...
Had this came with a more powerful engine also then I would have considered upgrading from my FX4 4K XLT but as ot stands I already have the 235 tires from the factory and it goes through and over anything I need it to do. I don't really do a whole lot of off-roading and what I do drive on I...
