I ordered my 24 Lariat hybrid in early September of 23 and took delivery February 24. At the time of ordering, I was told six months to a year was the expectation. I have almost 32k on it now with zero issues. I love driving this vehicle. It is very quiet and comfortable. I've added a lot of...
WD40 cleans the seal, leaves a coating that doesn't feel greasy and the seal won't stick to the metal roof that it contacts. Worked for my six different sun roofs.
Unless there are concerns of backing over a lady bug, I find very little difference about what actually needs to be seen. I find all those yellow bars very distracting.
The company that did my ceramic coating sells and installs a window tint film like the one used on the door glass that is clear. It blocks UV rays and keeps the interior cooler. Any tinting of the windshield is illegal in Canada, so that works great for us. I haven't priced it out yet, but it is...
I was told by someone a while back, don't know if this is true, that the Ford key fob stops sending a signal if it is stationary for ten minutes. I think that is untrue, but I don't know for sure.
I would only do it as long as my truck was in my sight line. The key fob sends a signal and anyone with a reader can open your door. No alarms. Might de good to have a club on your wheel to discourage folks a bit.
I keep my thermometer in the vent full time, so I know that if set it to “LO”, I will see at least mid 40’s after it reaches equilibrium, no matter how hot outside.
That was my understanding as well. High 40s low 50s on your very thermometer is what you should be getting on a proper AC unit.
Keep your AC on recirculation, and it will work much better. It cools the air in the cabin, not the air coming in from outside. Check your manual for recirculate if you don't know what we're talking about.
Well he did ask if anyone had this problem, so you re going to get yes and nos. Dealers just love giving those simple replies about systems working normal. Get a thermometer and another dealer.
All pickups have this issue, it's not just a Maverick issue. Had the same issue with my old Rangers, with dust, snow, and water even with tonneau covers and caps.
Something else to watch for I guess. I'm at around 21000 miles 30,000 K and my mechanic did my oil change, and said the Brakes looked good, but unusually rusty. Living in southern Ontario Canada winters, and not driving much this past December due to surgery had a lot to do with that.
That's strange that rear brakes would wear faster than front. The brake balance can't be right. Every car I've ever owned, I've had a two to one ration of front to back. Something doesn't sound right.
