  1. Damaged While in Transit

mine had damage on both mirrors in the same spot, from rubbing against something. Mine also had a small dent, Nickle size, under driverside passenger window. Pretty sure pre-paint. Dealer had all three small items fixed perfectly. so no complaints, but seems to me hail damage in another...
  2. Maverick - the vehicle version of Hogwart's room of requirement

10 months I waited. And then it appeared right after my wife's jeep was totaled. Oh man, this thing IS magical!
  3. Maverick - the vehicle version of Hogwart's room of requirement

so got my mav about 6 weeks ago, my wife got her jeep totaled 8 weeks ago. So the secondary vehicle is now primary. What we have decided: Perfect size. so easy to get in and out of - no climbing or falling into. but as we have integrated the mav into our lives, today was a moment. We had...
  4. Maverick size, not manly?

so got my mav about 6 weeks ago, my wife got her jeep totaled 8 weeks ago. So the secondary vehicle is now primary. What we have decided: Perfect size. so easy to get in and out of - no climbing or falling into. but as we have integrated the mav into our lives, today was a moment. We had...
  5. Took Maverick to see Maverick

that"s Awesome! (both the drive-in and the double mav). And you have a tailgate! backin, tailgate down, and a few bevs to enjoy the movie! thanks for sharing!
  6. Katzkins installed on XLT Lux seats

THATS how this truck is suppose to look!
  7. Driving in Low

I tried eco and it really didnt do anything IMO. When I engaged the 'LO' button, it instantly went to one pedal driving in most circumstances. Have not seen the ICE used as an engine brake so pretty sure all going to charge the battery. Much better driving experience and my mileage improved...
  8. single pedal driving / max regen button for hybrid (It does exist!)

yep, saw all that, but the hybrid does not have gears so this definition doesnt hold, its transmission is very simple using speed ratio variance between ICE and electric motor. Plus, the feature I like on this option is engaging to full regen without having to touch the brake pedal when slowing...
  9. single pedal driving / max regen button for hybrid (It does exist!)

drives the same way, no difference to acceleration, holding speed. Only difference is when you want to stop, just lift up slightly on the gas and the truck goes right into max regen braking. I have found it a much better way to try to get the '100%' on the brake coach and is just a better...
  10. Driving in Low

found the feature and have a positive feel for it. Is very similar to the true max regen on the wrangler 4xe. I like the one pedal driving (mostly) but most of all, getting all the regen without having to 'modulate' the brake to try and hit the sweet spot. just lift my foot and let the truck...
  11. Driving in Low

Just figured out this feature today (driving my maverick for about a month now). Seems pretty close to one pedal driving. not noticed engine noise at all, but using it in normal driving where I do want regen braking already. Note is that now I feel like I dont have to play with the brake to...
  12. single pedal driving / max regen button for hybrid (It does exist!)

stumbled on to a thread discussing the little button marked LO on the rotary shift dial. I have a Jeep hybrid and love the one pedal driving, and wished it was on my new hybrid maverick, but just figured if didnt exist. Then the button was mentioned as impacting regeneration but also maybe...
  13. LOW Button in Shifter???

Thank you for this this - I just assumed the weak regen was just the way it was and get use to it. My jeep wrangler 4xe with max regen was true one pedal driving, with brake light coming on immediately. the regen is so strong that to slow down, I actually have to modulate the gas, removing my...
  14. ‘23 Ranger on the way.

I agree with you - but its cheaper for the manufacturer to remove a lot of separate components and replace them with a screen and software/relays. one of the things I love about the maverick is the simple controls. I feel the big screens are distractions - you got to look, can't feel for the...
  15. ‘23 Ranger on the way.

all video highlighted items are non-maverick I noticed - trying to differentiate I guess. All I see $$$ and had to roll my eyes at the tail gate. no self-respecting craftsman would use that plastic rule and the clamps on plastic, not seeing that last before someone tries a steel clamp that...
  16. Higher gas prices vs. spending thousands of $$ on a new car

sounds like the perfect vehicle to do an electric conversion with!
  17. 600 Miles Per Tank Hybrid Maverick club

its just safer to allow a new pump to wear in first before running without cooling (ie empty fuel tank). I think after wears in, normal driving to less than a 1/4 tank is fine. I had to replace a fuel pump on a 2001 tahoe 5.7. thought I reinforced NEVER letting the fuel tank drop below half...
  18. Misrepresentation?

Yeah, that was tough for me as well. I went to a smaller 5 star dealer instead, driving past two larger dealers. Still the right thing to do, and seems ford has learned the lesson as they now schedule as ordered vs. by allotment...
  19. Misrepresentation?

Sorry, I meant first day possible - day of the announcement made my reservation and ordered at the dealer on the 11th I think
  20. Misrepresentation?

So I ordered the first day in June. Just got mine a few weeks ago. Yes, ford and the dealer did not reach out to me with updates. However, every time I contacted Ford, the person I talked to actually found the status of my vehicle and was very nice and provided up to the minute information...
