Mine was a similar savings, except that I'll pick it up and drive it back. Little road trip vacay.
Other savings is that I don't have to deal with the local sales tactics, so the headache and ease and transparency of transaction makes it worth it.
I am and I picked up a Gladiator from them in the mean time. They are honest and it was a great experience picking up my Jeep. Looking forward to getting my Maverick when its built.
My BMW had something similar on the roof, but I hated them, I felt they were too flush so the attachments never seemed to engage tight enough...especially when sliding my 80 lb kayak up there! However, I would take it over not having it.
Every time I see this, I wonder why is there only 1 slot in the cabin but 7 under the rear seat?
Why didn't they make a slot near the dash...build a phone holder or cord organizer there? Why not one near the door, could build a tissue holder, another on the dash to build a coin slot, etc...
I didn't see it, they just referenced to see the Ford Towing guide that was previously published and says 400lb.

For those curious about off road use, I found this interesting in that for non FX4, they say no way and it will void your warranty.
HOW DOES ALL-WHEEL DRIVE WORK - EXCLUDING: FX4 OFF ROAD Your all-wheel drive vehicle is not intended for off-road use. The AWD feature gives your vehicle some...
Do you mean like we used to have until about 20 or so years ago? I remember swapping stereos on many a car, wreck one car, pull the radio and put it in another!
Yes, mine has both an AC plug and a 12V DC plug. I will sometimes prechill in the house, then put it in the car, especially when I am bringing items with me. I've actually found these to be more reliable than my RV fridge!
I carry one of these with me now. Get a decent 12v/120v compressor fridge. Yes, it takes 30 minutes to reach temperature, but that is not bad. Load it up, turn it on, and it will keep things cool. For you, put in some water bottles and turn it on for your trip out there and it will be ready...
I'll reply just from my experience, both with Tom and on other vehicles I purchased from out of state.
If you are picking up, Chapmans will process the paperwork for the title/registration where you live, at least they did for me as have other vehicles I have purchased from out of state. There...
Interesting thread. I owned a Gen2 Prius and over 7 years and 120k miles I averaged 50 MPG, but did I hate driving that thing. Better tires improved the ride but hurt the fuel economy.
I have a 2k camper that I will tow and need the extra margin to do it safely, by the time there is propone...
I plan to use something like this:

However, I'm not sure what the maximum overhang allowed in FL is, I've seen that national DOT limit of 4 feet, then other references to 9 and 15 feet. Most weekends it's under 10 miles to my...
Yup, this is a great state to purchase a car and it's only getting worse. For grins, listen to or read Earl Stewart on Cars Mystery Shopping reports. They send buyers into South Florida Dealerships based upon advertising and many times get hit with high fees, dealer add ons, etc....
