That poor Tasman looks like a Tacoma that got its ass beaten and left for dead.
I'm sure there will be some takers when the US model comes out here, but even in the more caricature-friendly truck market, Kia's design language is... pretty "niche."
I think your sentiment is spot on, but your root cause is a bit off the mark, at least as far as this forum goes. Your second sentence seems to be implicating some younger, TikTok-addicted group - but it isn't generally Gen Z Maverick owners who are starting new threads every day like "LOOKING...
If you start the truck and put the headlight switch on the "off" position, the headlights will not come on, regardless of ambient light level. Sounds like OP doesn't want to have to turn the switch "off" every time they start the truck.
And yes, that behavior can be altered in Forscan, but it...
Whatever issue you think you have, is not necessarily the same one as the OP of the thread you're in.
It is not physically possible to electronically lock one door and leave the others unlocked, which is what OP and many, many others ARE talking about.
The DRLs are user-configurable to be "off," at least in the US.
Can't be 100% sure, but I think OP is talking about the main headlight setting reverting to "Auto" at every startup - meaning the main low beams will come on based on ambient light level, unless you fiddle with the switch first...
You read the first post but not any of the following 50. Got it.
If it truly wasn't possible, there wouldn't be a new thread exactly like this every month or two.
Pretty sure the Ford/Mishimoto is small enough that it doesn't require permanent de-shuttering. I believe it was smaller (and significantly more expensive) than something like the CVF intercooler.
This has nothing to do with the power lock “button.” It’s literally post #4 in this thread. There is a manual lever that only locks the door it’s attached to.
You're good. The OEM brakes as they are will probably serve you fine and not pose any safety or reliability issues.
Upgrades will usually help the absolute stopping power or the resilience to make repeated stops without fade, like on a racetrack. You aren't liable to push either of those...
