I have had the front fabric wheel liners on multiple vehicles and they have held up perfectly. Last vehicle 12 years and 120k miles before I sold it. The best part about these is that they don't show dirt and dust as bad, and rinse off easily. The plastic stuff shows dirt and dust easier...
Stopped and engine running, means engine was on and vehicle not moving when it started.
I believe it continued when I started moving for a little which but I am not 100% sure.
HVAC was likely on 68 degrees, and it was cooler than 68 degrees outside, so heat was probably being used.
I believe...
I have had my truck for about a year and a half, 20k miles, and the past two days there was some engine shaking/vibration noticeable while stopped and in drive.
No engine codes, no warning lights.
It has done this two days in a row.
Maybe a bad tank of gas?
This has never happened...
Looks awesome! Thanks for sharing. I will need to wait for someone to video their process, because I would mess it up without following a visual. So much better than the matte look that people have been getting when zep'ing the entire light.
Makes sense. Regardless of what temp it's on... if I turn off A/c in a few seconds I can tell it's not as cold. Makes me think that it doesn't cycle like normal older A/cs. But if it's running normal, I can never notice a change in temp like older vehicles.
That's pretty much what I do, leave temp on low and adjust the temp if it's too cold (Because the AC works crazy good).... but based on this, and what was mentioned in the posts above, it would get lower mpg because the compressor would always be running at max because the cabin would never get...
If I remember
I am not an expert in this, but I thought on several vehicles I had, they said if you press recycle that it would only stay on that way for so many minutes, then it would default to fresh air.
I don't see how it would affect aerodynamics. It isn't like we have a huge hood...
That's what I thought, but the person that replied earlier seems to think the regular setting still detects cabin temperature and it operates like a home thermostat, rather than the previous car air conditioners I have owned.
Any thoughts on best setting for MPG when using the A/C in a hybrid.
Auto fan moves too much air for me on the lowest setting, so I like to use manual.
Fan speed should directly correlate to power consumption, so I usually keep it at lowest setting once cabin in cool.
I don't know how the A/C...
I thought non-auto setting meant, that the vent blew air at that temp, and auto meant it cooled the cabin to that setting. Are you using auto or non auto temp?
Is there a difference under when the compressors cycles under each setting?
I was trying to figure out what is the best way to get...
Thanks for reaching out. I'm not ready to take it into the dealer yet, as I am sure they will want to replicate it. I am curious how you would like to help?
