You had a good Dad!
So what happens if you put the shifter in R when driving. Iām afraid to touch the dial when driving. Has anyone accidentally done this? Can it go to the R when driving or does in not let you go to that spot? And I certainly assume it doesnāt actually go āinto reverseā when...
Absolutely every move you make with your phone is documented in the phone, even if you turn the screen from portrait to landscape.
Absolutely every keystroke and mouse movement you make on your computer is saved in the registry.
So yeah, everything you do to the truck, start, stop, break...
Yes Granger for your Warranty.
And extened warranties have been around forever. Not new.
Finally, they are Wanted, not Needed. Itās up to the buyer to make that decision. Iām in the camp of buying one. Piece of mind for expensive repairs.
For the most part, cars today are of better quality...
So itās not a buyback, itās a used truck with 15k miles?
I have a similar truck as the one for sale Except no moonroof and those other add onās. I paid around 35k
I guess you can get a Kelly Blue book vale and go from there.
I would have done the same thing. I wonder what Ford does with the truck. Do they clean it up and then resell it with the same problem? I mean, if they donāt know whatās wrong with it, how can they fix it. Maybe they just crush it?

Customized floor mats?
Sort of reminds me of a pig with lipstick.
Sorry.
And if they really are āscrolling through maverick truck forumsā it would be nice if they would help out the sea of Mav. owners with chronic battery problems too.
I did the same thing at my local dealer. I bought a new SUV with a personal checK. I was quite surprised but the sales guy was not worried. I drove the vehicle home that day.

I have that same plow on my beater silverado. I no longer insure or register the truck since it never leaves my property and its sole use is snow removal.
I do commend the OP for his creative mounting of the plow. And living in an area with a lot of snow, we are always looking for ways to make...
YOU MY FRIEND ARE A SMART GUY. I WOULD HAVE DONE THE EXACT SAME THING.
Sorry caps lock was on.
This issue is a manufacturing defect. Ford has simply allowed it to happen without a repair because itās cheaper than fixing all the defective trucks.

āSmellingā the oil for gas is hardly any sort of test for diluted oil.
There will always be some negligible gasoline in the oil from time to time, especially if driven on shorter trips or running a cold engine. Gasoline, obviously, has a strong odor and a small amount can be noticeable but even...
Yup thatās a piezo from a smoke detector or a carbon monoxide detector. You have something rolling around in your truck.
I promise you thatās it.
Itās not the truck 100%
The 2017 Honda CRV has no telemetrics and the software update was done at the dealer. It did not fix the problem but it reduced the problem. There is still considerable gas in the oil and the only way to reduce it is to get the engine hot to assist in evaporating the gas out of the oil.

And this is where I think Blackstone oil analysis is a pile of crap.
I sent in my oil sample to Blackstone (on my Honda back in 2018) when my oil level was more than a half quart higher than when I changed it. Blackstone reported less than 3% diluted oil. I knew it was a false analysis since I...
Oil dilution will remarkably shorten engine life. Gasoline is a wonderful solvent and easily strips oil of itās lubrication properties.
I was part of a class-action lawsuit against Honda for severe oil dilution in their 2017 CRV. The oil on the dipstick would rise over time. Honda performed a...
