Have a ā22 gray XL hybrid with 50k miles and have ordered a ā24 XL hybrid HPR. Not sure when Iāll get it. I thought it was the best color option remaining but not sure if this forces it to a higher unicorn status and delays build date more.
Looks great... I sometimes wonder what my '22 grey XL hybrid would look like if I powder coated the wheels black and bagged / lowered it. How is the placement and look of the air controls? Might be cool / clean if it could all me forced into the cubby area.
2022 XL with almost 45K miles and NO regrets. Have driven my father-in-laws Lariat and not really anything worth the difference in price to me; both hybrids. Now I have a 2024 XL hybrid on order only issue really is BS color choices and no 400W inverter. I'm spending $500 to get HPR but...
Welcomeā¦. I drive Hillsborough to GSO almost daily in my ā22 XL hybrid. Just ordered a ā24 (hate color options) that I might never see. Father in law has a Lariat, his brother has a First Edition and friend an XLT EB 4x4.
Love that Bronco color, saw it in person at dealer a few day ago!!! And yes, Iām also sitting on a 2000 FRC C5 with about 23k miles - one day will have to say bye but Iām stubborn on that one! I know unpopular here maybe and with my wife but if $$$ was plentiful, twins out of house and I had a...

PRO:
1 Share miles with ā22 having almost 40k now.
2 Recall / repair status with ā22 TBD
3 ā24 cruise control
4 ā22 will be decent first vehicle for new driver twins in a few years
5 Easy to...
The XL has been great and I even think some days at about $22.5K out the door I should have gotten dos. If my twins were older most likely I would have gotten them one to share. For a 2022 I don't miss cruise - the only thing that is a little disappointing is the cloth seats show some wear and...
It could be, really depends on the quality of the light and the lumens. The 2 small lights I have do not light the front of the bed at cab so much. I just needed something to load / unload at the tailgate.
I put in USB and 12V power ports in the bed with a switch. I also added LED bed lights that come on when the gate goes down. Yes, single 20A fuse (don't ask how I know) and on for only a limited time after the switch is off is what I've experienced.
Mercury sw:
Lighted override sw:
White LED Light - note these are "Marine Grade":
Wire - need at least 2 of these:
I had to hot glue a round magnet to the mercury sw to anchor it to the inside of the tailgate where the existing wiring harness comes in - seems to work well and no moving...
