Scott, I had one that was a company vehicle that I drove about a year. It was a fantastic little machine. I used to leave out each week on Sunday around midnight, drive to El Paso to be there at 10 Monday morning, spend a couple days there, then head to Southern NM, then up to Albuquerque...
Before you get alarmed and think I am posting this from the "dark side" let me clarify. Someone decided they wanted to go exactly where I was parked and in the process, did a significant amount of damage to my passenger rear quarter panel. With parts shortages you know how long it took. From...
You made the right choice and one big thing popped up when I read your post. Your order dealer was charging an $800 ADM on a NEW ORDER. Rarely does a dealer do this. The bulk of the dealers order a vehicle at msrp with NO ADM.
Unfortunately, Mavericks come with a lot of things at no cost added - rain, sleet, snow, etc. LOL. Glad you got yours and enjoy it every day. You will love it more and more as you drive it.
No brainer here. Let the 24 go and enjoy the 23. No sense in paying more money for less vehicle, especially one you do not have - only a build date. Like my old dad said when he was alive, "One bird in the hand is much better than two in the bush." Enjoy your Maverick.
Congrats on your soon to be built Maverick. We have two of them and love them. You will find a wealth of info here. Do not apologize about being old because a ton of us here are in that condition - headed to 77 on my end. Would be interesting to see how many old folks - I mean advanced...
Glad you are OK. Even though the Maverick did its job, we all know the ONE above watched over you. Trucks can be replaced, but you cannot. We are so thankful that you were not seriously injured. Like others have said Mavericks are easy to get now. Dealers around me are actually having some...
I used the Hard Roll Up on my 22 XLT EB and when my 23 Lariat Hybrid came it, the move over was seamless. Just had to change the thickness of the front tape line. Same thing with my wife's soft roll up. They all will work on either.
Glad you got yours so quickly as opposed to those who waited so long for 22 and 23 models. Maybe things are changing for the good. Welcome to the family of Maverick owners.
Everything seems to be pointing to shorter wait times for the 24 models. Maybe you will get lucky and get yours quickly. You need to warm up the frozen tundra with a hot Maverick. Good luck.
Beautiful truck and beautiful pics. As long as you guys keep posting such beautiful pics from places across the country, I will not need to take a vacation and long trip - just enjoy yours LOL.
Congrats on your new Maverick. My wife and I are on numbers 3 and 4. I started out with a 22 EB XLT and she started out with a 23 Hybrid XLT. Later, our 23 Lariat hybrids came in, so one was sold for a nice profit and the other was traded for $4K more than we paid for it. Nothing else but...
We need more stories like this. After all, life is precious and it is important to make the most of it. Death is certain and it is good to hear of someone giving comfort to an elderly person during that time of leaving this world. Our focus should not be on things, but just like this poster...
Unless I missed something here, was there a hope of getting something taken off the msrp. Anyone who can find one on a lot without an ADM will find a bargain. I see them all the time here in Dallas area with anywhere from $4K to $10K markup.
Fabulous work and I know you must have put a lot of time and effort in it. Problem with some of us is that we cannot draw a straight line even using a ruler LOL. Happy Mavericking and you do it in classy style.
