You got the cut features during the shortage. My wife has a '23 Mav Lariat and she doesn't have the backup sensors nor adaptive cruise control. My '23 (later build) has everything. I keep threatening to add the backup sensor, but I am lazy.
I have owned nothing but Ford over the past 30 years and they have been all reliable. Some of them I have had over 300k. My next vehicle will be my last and final and it will be a Ford.
I don't blame you for getting rid of it. Enjoy your Toyota and not having that feeling like you're...
Black truck with a black interior gets fairly hot in the summer. Gravity hasn't been kind and having something to tame the heat, the huevos might thank me.
All those issue suck and I understand why you dont' want another FORD, but the grass might not be greener elsewhere. All manufacturers have issue. You just happened to be unfortunate to get a Maverick that keeps taking time and money out of your pocket. I would also swear off Ford after 34...
Maybe that's my vibration I'm feeling during acceleration. It started after I hit a pothole that knocked my fillings out. I did take it to the Dealership two weeks ago for oil change and tire rotation. That they didn't do the tire rotation.
You're right. I don't service cars, but I do service vehicles that cost more than the inventory sitting on the lot of a dealership. I understand mark up on parts.
If they would have said XX. amount for the part and xx. amount for the labor even though I would have denied it. That's better...
I'm at the service center and they recommended changing my air filter for 84.85. I had to laughed at them. Asked them how they justify the 84.95 for an airfilter that sells for 21.00 and event at that price the auto parts store is making profit. I can see them charging 31.00 for a filter. I...
If it's repaired, I don't think they can deny warranty, unless they can prove that the damage from the accident cause the issue. If the fender cut the wiring bundle that wouldn't be covered. If the headlight goes Tango Uniform and if you included the lights in your extended warranty. I don't...
So far owning a hybrid my cost is a lot lower than my ICE. I was paying 280 - 300 a month for fuel for my F150. Now I'm around 120 - 160 a month. Cost of an oil change on the Hybrid is slightly lower.
I already have 1.5k for the ESP price (10yr/100k) on the Maverick so there is that cost...
Before the crazy marks up.. When we order ours '23 Lariat total was 28k. When it did arrive the price jumped to 36k because of the dealership wanted to get in on the crazy marks up at the time. We ended up not buying it because of that.
I meant to say 2022 on the Lariat.
I was chatting with my friend about this. He asked me if the Maverick is worth it. I replied no and explained it was because of the higher prices and removal some "features". I understand inflation etc., but go from 20k for a XL to 29k (in my area) it's a bit much.
I paid around 32k for my 23...
