  1. FWD Hybrid 2.5 vs AWD Turbo 2.0

Thanks … I am getting some wheel slip on wet pavement with the FWD hybrid. Concerned about traction in winter weather. Also looked at the COBB tune torque and HP improvement and it’s significant. Hmmm….
  2. FWD Hybrid 2.5 vs AWD Turbo 2.0

Whose tune did you use? I have used COBB in the past w good results (on a Subaru Ascent 2.5)
  3. FWD Hybrid 2.5 vs AWD Turbo 2.0

Hello everyone- Recently I bought a used 2022 Hybrid and have fallen in love with the nimble, fun and function of what Ford created … The Maverick is a unique vehicle that combines a lot of seemingly opposing attributes into a nicely balanced ride … it’s small but has great cabin space; it’s...
  4. No more Falken Tires made in the USA

Bummer … love my Wildpeaks. What will you consider for your next set?
  5. Illuminate Your Adventures with Mabett Roof Top Light Bar!

I like the concept and have previously installed light bars on several vehicles. In the past I used a 24” or 30” solid light bar that could only be adjusted up and down. Too low and it didn’t help much; too high and it risked blinding on-coming drivers. What I really needed was a light bar...
  6. New tires and rims: 17" Method 502 wheels with Michelin Defender 2 tires (235/65x17)

Can’t go wrong with Methods and Defenders … great combo!
  7. New wheels and tires on my FX4

Really nice upgrade on both wheels and tires. Agree that black or navy trucks need a just little pop on the wheels to look balanced. Your wheels are a nice balance. Also love the wild peaks … i run 245/60/18 on my hybrid lariat.
  8. Better tires

GO15’s are good tires … my son ran them on his Cross Trek Hybrid and loved them. Personally, I am a Wildpeak fan … have had three sets and love the ride, quiet, and traction in all conditions. The little bit of off roading I do when fishing they hold up fine, but wouldn’t call it a good test...
  9. I built a wooden gantry crane to lift and install Maverick Cap by my own.

Very impressed with your engineering work … we lift heavy tombstones and pallet changers at our machining company, and use gantry cranes in a few locations … your design and execution is impressive. Great job!
  10. My 2024 Hybrid XLT in Azure Grey Modifications / Build

I have the spray on liner on my 2022 Lariat hybrid and love my BedRug liner. Huge plus for crawling around on it; but only good with a bed cover. I have the factory weather tech folding cover. Works great.
  11. 2024 Maverick XL AWD gets Wheels & Tires: 235/65R17 Falken Wildpeak AT3W tires on 17x7.5 Voxx LAGO Gloss Black Wheels

Wow … that’s a tough run. Nicely done! Love your truck!

  13. White Wheels from Bronco Sport Heritage + White Letter Tires installed on Maverick Lariat

It’s more like an old Land Rover than a B Sport, which is what the B Sport is copying.
  14. Another one down - 2023 Maverick Lariat rear-ended and totaled

The good news is you’re getting a new truck, versus having frame related damage on your CarFax, which would be a HUGE hit to your truck’s resale value.
  15. White Wheels from Bronco Sport Heritage + White Letter Tires installed on Maverick Lariat

Suggest you have the top wrapped in white also! Would look very retro and balance a white grill and wheels.
  16. Another one down - 2023 Maverick Lariat rear-ended and totaled

Sadly, your truck will be sold by the insurance company to a salvage company who will repair your truck and sell it with a salvage title. I see them on CarGurus all the time. The salvage company will pay say $6k for your wrecked vehicle and this will lessen the impact of the claim to the...
  17. Falken Wildpeak AT Tires off-road test

I checked the Tirerack website for 255/65/17 and the overall diameter for this size is 30.1”. Width of the tread and fit on a 7” wheel depends upon the tire selection… my thought is most tires would fit without a lift. My 245/60/18’s are 29.8” in diameter and around 8” tread width and they fit...
  18. Falken Wildpeak AT Tires off-road test

I was probably over estimating the incline … felt super steep … didn’t know there was an incline meter on the truck.
