I was reading this thread and have been quite annoyed by the reminder as I was in my '25. On that I used Forscan to turn it off but never really liked how it turned off all the warning dings when my seatbelt was actually off so I hadn't done the change on the '26 yet. Was considering whether I...
Ha! I bought mine from Corwin Ford in Spokane so it must be the same thing. I seem to remember they wanted to charge me $399 for it and there was another $399 for some blink the 3rd brake light fast thing. Told them no and they didn't even try to keep it on and just dropped both.
When I got my '25 Lariat the only one I could find had a sunroof, didn't really want it and never used it. When I replaced that with a '26 after my first one was wrecked I managed to find the same spec but without the sunroof and I don't miss it.
Are you talking about something like this?

I just created a thread on the same thing today about a GPS tracker I found:

I wouldn't think that would cause your weird issues unless they used wire taps and got some wires crossed or something. My...
I haven't had any battery issues with my '25 (RIP) or the '26 but I can sure see how this might cause some. It does have it's own internal battery so it can still operate when the truck battery is dead, sheesh! It is still on while sitting on my kitchen table.
Decided to run my scanner for the first time on my '26 just to see if there were any pending codes or anything (there wasn't) and as I yanked the OBD2 dongle for the scanner out and I thought I had yanked to hard and pulled the OBD2 connector off its clip or something. Looked closer and it...
Mine on my iPhone must have updated by itself last night and it was completely confused. It didn't seem to realize that it was disconnected and log out wouldn't acknowledge that I logged out. Then after quitting the app and relaunching it, it prompted me to log in and all is good again. Lazy...
I never had any sleep mode notifications with my '25 hybrid Lariat. I figured it was due to my 4 day/week 70 mile round trip commute which was 95% highway speeds 70-80. I do have the headlights set on auto all the time which I think has DRL's? Not sure if that is enough to kick it into 100%...
I would (and did) buy another hybrid. My green '25 Lariat was totaled two months ago and I had put a little over 17K on it. Replace it a little over a month ago with the '26 Lariat.
Interesting side note. I still have the old one on my Ford app and it had been showing the status as running...
