Great job on the project. I have a quick question, I've been considering 1/4" spacers for the rear as well. Can you tell me where you acquired them and confirm that more than sufficient stud length exists for a safe application? Thanks in advance.
I also had a rattle after delivery. A walk around in my driveway revealed a right rear tail light that was not installed properly at the factory. The pressure pins weren't set, and a light push in that area set the pins and cured the rattle.
That's a tough one... I think they'd be very subdued and I'm not so sure the colors wouldn't clash. Nevertheless, it depends on what look you're going for.
I ordered direct from the company, but yes, $59. I've used their products before for my motorcycle, and the quality has always been excellent. So, I decided to stick with what I know to be a good product.
Installed Tufskinz Tremor Orange lettering to my tailgate. The product was of very good quality, easy to install and came with clear instructions. The color match is exact, with respect to the rest of the Tremor badging. The paperwork that came with the lettering did say it was licensed by...
For those who may not have seen it pop up on the general forum, there is a Maverick Meet this Sunday, October 22nd, at 11am at Jamie's Outpost in North Utica, IL, essentially next to Starved Rock State Park. It's open to all... As of this morning it's confirmed as still a "go".
There is a YouTube video that shows a guy who had the same issue with the light strip. Turned out to be related to the canbus controlling the headlight assembly. He changed the power source to the side marker light on the front fender and his issue was solved. His goal was to have the...
I seem to share many of your catch can questions and concerns. To begin with, Ford incorporates an air/oil separator at the PCV valve from the factory. Therefore, unless it is very ineffective, it would seem to me that a dirty-side catch can may not be money well spent. Also (and...
Thank you Dan for proposing the activity. I'm in... with most Saturdays and Sundays free during October. From Huntley, I'm only 40 minutes NW of O'Hara, so location is fine with me.
I'm a new Maverick 2.0EB owner and am curious as to your experience with the catch can over the last year. I'm torn on this issue, since Ford already incorporates an oil/air separator at the PVC location. Has your experience shown that you're still accumulating a lot of junk between oil changes?
