I've been through this whole saga. 40+ deep sleep notifications over several months. What I've learned is that the system is good at preserving enough battery to start the car (e.g. the interior lights don't turn on if the battery is low). Thankfully, the truck has always started. If you have...
From what I recall from installing the new HomeLink rearview mirror there is no 'bulb'. It's a fully integrated circuit board so there is nothing to swap out. You'll need to go with a film.
Make sure you get the 2017-2022 version. The 2019-2022 model is the OLDER version. I ordered the 19-22 model, I had a problem with it and the company said the 17-22 model is the newer one. I've had it for a few weeks now and it works great with the Lariat. Also, It's critical that you DO NOT...
A suggestion. Owner's manual first. The second, and most important, is the search button. Forums shouldn't be an endless stream of repeated questions. If that doesn't give you an answer, then post. I wish the mods would post a sticky or note to search before posting.
I appreciate it, but for me this is just a symptom of my issue. I shouldn’t have to charge my battery one to two times per week to prevent deep sleep notifications. That’s my bigger issue. The dealer already had it once for a few days and couldn’t tell me why it was happening.

I don't think that techs know much about this truck yet. They told me directly they couldn't figure out why it was happening. I've been hooking up my truck on the weekend to a NOCO charger. It extends the life of the battery and prevents the truck from going into deep sleep. There is clearly an...
Do you know what is happening when the window reaches the full open or close position and it does that little extra actuation? It seems to close and then verify. Do the hall effect sensors require that?
This is way more weight than can be done safely. But.... non-body-on-frame vehicles are underrated in the US. My previous car, a Subaru Outback, had a tow rating of 2700lbs in the US but the exact model in the UK had a rating of 4400lbs. Our speed limits are higher and we tend to be less...
I can't speak about Ford's electronic parking brake but for others, yes, it is different when you're in motion. In deep snow, just for kicks with my 2019 Outback I tried this. It was the same as a hard press on the pedal brake. ABS kicked in. Only when it got to a stop would it revert to just...
The electronic parking brake works as an emergency brake when the truck is in motion. You just pull and hold the switch and it will apply full braking force to all four wheels with ABS, etc.
As far as I know, the feature is limited to the Lariat (via the switch and keyfob). You can see my post about it here. Further in the post, there is a discussion about modifying the switch.
That's my truck and after actually using it I don't like this design. It's only using one of the attachment bolts and it's perpendicular to the fastener. They can't be used on the side of the tailgate. I was recently hauling plywood and when I started to tighten the straps it started to bend. I...
I've updated the title. I believe you must have auto up/down on all windows for this to work. The lariat is the only one with that option. Sorry to get hopes up for our XLT friends...
Different car, but see the second post:

I have been having issues with the FordPass app. I wonder if this could be the cause. My truck is also still listed as being at the rail yard despite being delivered in October.
