  1. In a panic over key fob woes

I went low tech on this. I have done it on every fob I got. Thin plastic wrap (with ample scotch tape) with only the lock/unlock buttons accessible. The other two buttons work, just need to press a lot harder. .
  2. Is there a way to turn off the heated seats?

For anyone interested, in July 2023, mp24 posted this link to the 2022 Maverick wiring diagram: Maverick Wiring Diagram Available For Download! 📒 | MaverickTruckClub - 2022+ Ford Maverick Pickup Forum, News, Owners, Discussions...
  3. Is there a way to turn off the heated seats?

Not sure if this will help or just confuse the issue, but I seem to grab stuff I may never need about my Maverick. One of those items was a scanned copy of the Ford Maverick 2022 Wiring Diagram. Here is what is shows for Heated/Vented Seats.
  4. Sudden Brake Failure - Crashed Into Building

@@ Rant Mode On Please, can we not give OldSarg a break here? It has been just over a day since he started this post. I am sure he has more pressing things on his mind than updating this thread, especially if there is nothing to add. If you look at his stats, since joining in 2021 he has...
  5. My First Withdrawal

Ya, but Ford doesn't need to know what my location is. Ergo, fuse 11 has been placed in the glove box next to the OEM lamps replace by LEDs and an Air Tag will get me to the parking lot when I forget where I parked the truck.
  6. My First Withdrawal

Fuse 11 is missing, someone pulled it out. I need to know where my truck is, no one else does.
  7. My First Withdrawal

The trip to and from the airport could be the only alone time I get with her so why waist the opportunity. Besides, a trip to the airport is probably the longest trip I make being retired. Need to charge that battery.
  8. My First Withdrawal

My daughter (32 yo) is home for the first time since I got my MY24 Lariat Hybrid. No one has driven it but me since I drove it off the lot. Well naturally, she needed to go out visiting friends and naturally my wife said she should use my truck rather than her Lexus. I just went to check the...
  9. How bright are the Maverick headlights?

I remember being stationed in Florida in 1974 and having to get my vehicle inspected. One of the inspection points was for headlight adjustment. They would fix the adjustment during the inspection...at no charge, go figure.

  13. Have you added a 120 Volt Socket to Your Mav Cubby

We are not talking about the same pin. I was referring to the (+) jump pin in the Hybrid engine compartment.
  14. 10 Secrets of the Maverick

Excellent Dad. This needs to be made a sticky and maybe an excel spreadsheet like Forscan. My mind is churning and it honestly hurts my head. 14. Hybrid Jump Points 15. The slot for receipt in the center console 16. Driver's side door lock that gets magically hit when exiting the car 17. Fuse...
  15. Spring-Loaded Flex Bed Divider

That is SWEET!!! But my old brain is having a hard time visualizing the spring (compression springs?) that must be sandwiched between the two sections of plywood. Very nice, very nice indeed.
  16. Have you added a 120 Volt Socket to Your Mav Cubby

The (+ red) Charging pin: Being a true hybrid, this terminal is SAE, not metric. It is 5/16-18 in size.
  17. Wash day

Feel your pain. North of Dallas and I keep thinking I can wash mine when the sun goes down...hasn't happened yet. Rince water evaporates before I can get soap on it.
  18. What do y'all think?

@Mhclupe I have this on my wish list: Trunk Emblem - Chrome - 1970-75 Ford Maverick | Dennis Carpenter Ford Restorations (dennis-carpenter.com) YMMV
  19. Another one down

Pull all your removeable mods now in preparation for your NEW one. At this point I think I have paid more in mods than the truck cost initially (at least that's what my wife would tell you.) Glad you're OK.
