If you can swing it you might think about shipping your wife’s car. Between fuel economy loss (~50%) and the expense of renting a trailer the delta in costs probably won’t be worth the aggravation. Cruising through the Cascades and Rockies should be fun, not worrisome.
I’m very curious about your trailer brake controller as well, while technically not required for my 1,500 pound trailer I’d still like a safety net, particularly when I travel through the Rockies this fall.
Likewise, I just turned down a 22 XLT Eco I ordered a year ago (creating some good will with salesman because he wanted it). Now just hoping the 23 XLT Hybrid gets scheduled….
Yep, same truck. It was in their Savannah store for 8 days and they moved it to Hinesville. 12K in options hasn’t worked out so far but sure somebody will bite. Sure as heck would pay for options before I’d pay for crazy markups in other parts of the country.
Got my order in for a XLT Hybrid yesterday at J.C.Lewis Ford in Hinesville GA. Much to my surprise they have an available XLT EB available, lots of add like wheels, lowered, etc but if you just gotta have one right now there you go. Ask for Chad, great guy.
