15 months and 6000 mile on my Maverick, and I have to say I still grin every time I unlock the door and climb into the driver seat.
45.5 MPG and with gas prices as they are, I smile again as I look at the dash board and see 665 miles to empty after a fill up.
You've done a fine job with this one...
Did my 1st oil change on my Hybrid at about 4700 miles (1 yr mark).
I went with synthetic, and my intentions are to change and use synthetic, every 8000 miles regardless of what the monitor says.
That's my story and I'm sticking' to it hehe
Dealership took it to the shop at 8am Monday, called and said it was done at 5pm Tuesday.
Picked it up this morning at 7am, and all is good!
And yes a Lariat Hybrid
Whew!
This is the LAST thing I wanted to read on the forums!!
I just dropped mine off to the dealership where I purchased it yesterday, for the airbag recall replacement. I was told to expect it to be 3-4 days there.
I'll keep ya'll posted ....
I actually have an appointment for this upcoming Sunday, to drop off my Maverick for the side airbag recall repair. It's going to Peoria Ford where I purchased it from near a year ago.
They are more than willing to perform this recall repair, with no hassles given to me what so ever.
All they...
Had a banner Maverick sighting day in the Phoenix Metro Saturday.
Spotted 3 new previously unseen Mavericks! One a dark forest green, and two like mine in area 51.
Add these to the white, blue, and red ones previously spotted, it brings my total to 6 in the Wild for me.
And another 10 days and...
Twice now, my FordPass app has alerted me that my 22 Mav has gone into deep sleep mode to protect the battery.
This sucks! I drove a 2011 Fusion Hybrid for 10 years and not once did this ever happen with it.
I don't drive my Mav a lot, but it does get driven a couple times a week for between 15...
I never thought
I never thought about it that way but yes, I bet that would screw up emissions testing big time!
I best stick with a couple of 5 gal cans strapped down in the bed, If I'm going to expand capacity for cross country travel.
I'm at just under 4k miles on my Hybrid Maverick, and I just this week received the low battery warning for the first time. I too am lucky to drive it a couple times a week and rarely far.
I think I'll try the shut down ford pass app method and see what comes of that.
Ah hah! I wasn't the only one with questions and suspicions regarding the mysterious "left gauge" LoL. I'm really glad I started up this thread. It's been very helpful for me and seemingly others.
Fabulous comments by everyone!!
I am all about wringing the most out of my efficiency for sure.
At 4000 miles I'm showing 44.6 mpg, and I try to get it to 45 as often as possible.
I will certainly utilize these pointers, and I REALLY appreciate all the great input!
Call me dumb, but I've driven my Mav Hybrid for nearly 11 months now, and I still don't understand the
significance of the left dash gauge that shows battery in green and power in white.
Anyone have an explanation for me so I can better know what I'm looking at and what it's showing me?
Thank...
That is an awesome bed cover! I've got the Ford branded soft rollup cover now, but when the sun eats that up I think i'll definitely go with this diamond cover.
It's down right industrial. Nothing is going to harm that.
Once you learn right foot control, expect 45 mpg in city and near that on the highway, in ECO mode. I actually own the Lariat version, same color, and 9 months of driving it I still smile.
I ordered my Lariat Lux Hybrid with everything but the moon roof 9 months ago.
4000 miles on it, and I still smile every time I climb into that drivers seat.
- I wish it could default to eco mode with the other modes being selections
- Agree on the B & O sound system, it's adequate at best...
